it is like a kid getting what he always wanted for xmas and going nuts on xmas day....I liken that to SA having the world cup.. they are clearly not mentally ready to host such a competition it is the bloody world cup...not the african cup...pretty much being ruined by this pointless noise

years ago, we played ipswich at the dell..(we won 4-3)..it was around the time richard hall was playing for us.. during the build up, we were egging on this bloke who was clearly retarded and backwards..we were egging him on to run on the pitch with US if saints score.. anyway, saints go 1-0 up...and we never did...ipswich go 2-1 and the goading continues.. saints equalise and we shout "on the pitch"..thinking he would not fall for it, as we found our spots after going nuts at the equaliser...who did we see running around the center circle..? yep, said retard...it was funny..clearly an idiot running around the pitch....as he came back towards the milton, tim flowers tries to get him back in the stands before the stewards came.. anyway, he was ejected and missed a cracking game as saints went on to win 4-3... I think in those days, he was a £60 fine and pretty much a slap on the wrist for going on the pitch

to be fair, we do go on loads, probably too much about 66...I remember one time in glasgow an irate celtic fan was getting worked up (during some exchanges of banter) about 1966 and how we keep going on abou it... anyway, when the discussions about football moved onto club level, the said celtic fan could not stop going on about the "lisbon lions"..... hmmmmmmmmm

What was wrong with the lay out of the previous format..? it was shapr, easy on the eye and quick to navigate around the site.. why could there not have been a poll or something..? afterall, if it was not for the paying masses, this site would be hardly anything at all. The banner - dear god...looks like a cola advert or something The new site might have more to it, but at the end of the day, this place was and is a message board.. all this fancy stuff is drowning out the original purpose of what this place is for.. I for one, wont be renewing my membership in a hurry.. booooo

not really a tradition is it... it is the World Cup..not the african cup...we are completely being devoid of any atmosphere amungst the fans who turn up around the world..the dutch chants, the south korean atmosphere etc etc etc I fear this world cup will go down as one of the worst ever at this rate....no atmosphere and crud games it is as much a tradition as it is for english fans to smash the snot out of each other

after browsing around this place some more...i will say, what a complete error of judgement changing from the old format this is terrible, slow, amatuer, kiddy, bright sorry but hey ho

looks crap, the old one was better..(I apologise to the person who designed it, nothing personal at all) shearer..why..? davies or bobby stokes should have been in there.. the whole format is now awful IMO....seriously.. looks more like a kids website

I was is glasgow for parts of the last world cup.. I kid you not, it is borderline racism up there one kid in a wheel chair was beaten up for daring to wear an england top in the city center oh, how I laughed when Henry handled the ball against ireland

totally agree...j.cole is a real special talent.. as for Heskey playing to get the best out of rooney...I dont buy that..Rooney was pretty darn good all season as a lone striker.. I too felt we missed a bit of toughness in the middle of the park. gerrard though, was superb IMO
