  1. Last year we went to Hooters which full of saints fans and then The Globe where there were plenty of home and away fans. Both a couple of minutes from the stadium.
  2. Can't find anything on the official site, still no news I assume?
  3. I get so much more of a buzz walking in to a packed out St. Marys. Can't understand waving season tickets at those extra fans, sheer stupidity.
  4. Errr no... I don't think thats what he was doing at all. I think he's saying that if Connolly made it clear to the fans at Plymouth he didn't like the song, why the **** are we still singing it?
  5. Yeah I saw Beattie and Fuller at Mono or Pop or whatever its called last night. I think its highly unlikely we'd sign either of them.
  6. FFS how many defenders do we want called Dan/Danny?
  7. Richards was what.. £8million? And Theo an initial £5m, increasing to £12.5m with add ons. Does anyone have any idea how many of those add ons we actually got?
  8. Fonte, 3-1. 175-1
  9. In my opinion the season ticket increases were in line with what would be expected. Slightly above average for the division but then again we're aiming to be competitive in this league. Players not agreeing terms (allegedly). But that can be seen as a positive, Cortese won't be held to ransom. He calls the shots and anyone trying to take us for a ride will be told where to go. And I'm sure there's more that have agreed terms than those that haven't. It's a fair point that we haven't spent huge sums, but we have signed two first team players and look to be after another two. So the situation is being addressed. And I think peopple are making far too big a deal out of todays program. There may be a piece on him inside the programme, so he is on the front. The same as if there was an article with any player. It's not as if he makes a point of trying to get in the media spotlight all the time.
  10. Totally agree with the OP. We need immediate action to get Lowe, Wilde and Crouch reinstated and get our club heading in the right direction again. Cortese hasn't got a clue...
  11. Ticket office said around 25,000 sold as of around 4pm this afternoon.
  12. Even with holidays etc 22k would be really poor. I reckon we'll get more than that though... tickets have only been on sale a week, we'll shift far more this week and walk up on the day. I reckon 25,500 would be likely.
  13. lol calm down it was a perfectly reasonable question.
  14. Also the club where Henri Camara, Marcelo Sarmiento and Gregory Vignal were for the 10/11 season!
  15. We've brought good numbers to Walsall the last two seasons too. I'd be suprised if we didnt sell out at least 6 or 8 away games next season. Can see the London games, Pompey, Brighton, Birmingham, Forest, Reading, Bristol City maybe even Cardiff all being very popular.
  16. I can't find the Saints version, but here's the Utd v City advert... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4gWBQngxaY
  17. Sorry, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start. My brother just emailed me that so I thought I'd put it up. He's a graphic designer and as much as he'd like to throw out a few of his own ideas he's pretty snowed under right now so not sure how much he can help...
  18. My personal favourite. Here's a mock up of how it would look in the stadium:
  19. Just can't accept that a 17 year old kid is miles better than him. He's not proved anyone wrong... who's getting all the interest from the premier league big boys this summer?
  20. Bearing in mind we were limitted in many games by small allocations, ie. Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, and we could have brought many more to Plymouth, Orient, Dagenham, Exeter...
  21. Yeah I reckon they would have been far safer if they'd gone to another city to celebrate their promotion. I'm sure somewhere like Portsmouth or Bournemouth would have been a totally hassle free night! But I agree, clearly some do need to act far more responsibly.
  22. ...which means they won thier last game. Looking at their results they've won their last five and pushing for a play off spot, quite impressive!
  23. Comes across as being too laid back and sometimes lazy, but certainly has a great touch on him. In my opinion he has loads of ability even if he isnt always on the same wavelength as the players around him.
  24. I've got to agree with that bournemouth fan, it really is embarassing when you see people swaying left and right to that song.
