Didnt think the atmosphere from northam was as good as usual. Credit to Exeter fans, they made noise all match.

1-0 against Manure in 1976? Just like to point out that this decade started in 2000 Best game for me would probably be 3-2 v sheff utd Worst game... Last season against Doncaster, really felt like one of the lowest points for our club with the fighting that went on inside the stadium:(

must have taken the advice of the saints fans chanting 'yellows'

People are making a fuss about raising the matchday prices. If the advance price had been reduced we would have had the same thread with certain season ticket holders kicking up a fuss about how they are being treated badly and are no longer getting value for money. Lose-lose situation really

Can't seem to find figures on bbc website but found attendance quoted as 9757 on this website. Not quite a sell out... http://eachgameasitcomes.blogspot.com/2008/06/milton-keynes-dons-v-swansea-city.html

That would be the fairest way, but unfortunately I think its more likely to be simply: ST Members General sale

Leeds Away Ticket Info - full allocation taken

Looks like it may be of use to the previous post? -
Certainly not the first time this season I have seen this statement in the national media.

That came across well good at one point. Being sat in Kingsland 34 there usually aren't a lot singing, but that one got quite a few people involved, all in tune and the atmosphere there felt awesome.
-
I think usually about 1,500
-
I can confirm. Yes you can pay on the day.
-
We'll sell most of those tickets, I expect another 300 or so will be sold over thursday and friday and a few more buying on the day.

Why are people surprised that our atmosphere isn't up to the same standard as Stoke and Spurs? You can't possibly compare a League 1 team with Premiership stadiums, which are full every week, playing in the 'best league in the world'. When St Marys sells out the atmosphere is fantastic. When there are 20,000 in a 32,000 seater stadium it is still one of the best atmospheres in the division. And JRM, this link you posted is from Spurs v Chelsea at Wembley. You can't really compare that to Saints v MK Dons at st marys, although it is a good rendition.

I was in Kingsland, fairly level with it and i'm certain he was offside from that ball into the box.
-
2-0 saints, would that be our first clean sheet in the league?
-
Anyone watching the game in Birmingham? I was thinking of going to the sports cafe on Broad Street as they are bound to be showing it.
-
I've got a mate who's a big Macc Town fan and he speaks very highly of John Rooney, seems to be a very bright prospect. Could certainly be one for the future, personally I think it would be a good signing

I finished my A-Levels at Peter Symonds earlier this year too, and I wouldn't say we were in the minority. Sure there were plenty of United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans aswell as a few Pompey, but from my experience many of the saints fans just kept more of a low profile as we had nothing to be proud of or to gloat about.

Local game for me now that I'm living in Birmingham, really looking forward to it. I think we may well sell out the first allocation if our good form continues. Was planning on drinking in Birmingham before making the short train journey to Bescot.
-
That is generally the case, however I got the coach up to Bristol City a couple of seasons ago for a Tuesday evening and we arrived at the stadium around 10 minutes before kick off.
-
I second that

I'm with St Jason on this one. A couple of seasons ago the Itchen corner, blocks 1-4, was probably the best section in the ground for atmosphere. In my opinion it was on many occasions louder than the Northam, but yet offered a very different matchday experience. However the club dont seem to see it this way and have been gradually moving people out of this area. By all means open up the Northam/ Kingsland corner; but this doesn't mean block 4 has to be shut instead. In my opinion this wont improve the atmosphere, but will end up damaging it.

Couldn't make the game or get commentry today, but sounded like you guys were brilliant from what pardew said. how many did we bring up?
-
Overall attendace yeasterday was just over 19,000 I think. The away section looked pretty full from where I was, maybe around 2,800?

Charlton 2-3 Saints Feeling positive and nice to see others are positive too, looking forward to the game a lot more as it looks like a fair few going now.
