Correct. Thats the main difference. The accuracy of the passing has improved enormously. Theres other factors as well. The players are more motivated and seem a lot fitter. You do wonder what was going on with Pardew. Im not sure what the real reason was for getting rid of Pardew but the decision to do so was a masterstroke.

Great game. Players seem a lot happier and Adkins is gettting the best out of them i.e. Punch getting his confidence back which is blatently obvious from recent performances. Lambert looking a lot fitter too. The team seems to be a lot more flexible as well , under Pardew we were far too one dimensional. Cap that with an awesome display by Cortese's inspired signing Guly and things are looking good.

Thoroughly enjoyed the series. But was bothered by the easily rectified inaccuracies for example some of the phrases "move on" , "whatever" never used back then and the endless "high-fiving" and "man-hugging". Still look forward to This Is England 90 though...

I would imagine they are leaving to start up a NICE WORTHY Saints Forum where everyone will agree.They will have endless debates about the best Saints shirt in the last 30 years or programme designs that sort of thing.....................
