Thats the issue now we're in the Prem. This whole 'squad' thing throws a spanner in the works. If it wasn't there, Dickson would be in the squad as he is reasonable backup if both Fox and Harding got injured/suspended. However, now as you can only choose 25, you need to decide whether he's up to it or not as it can't be changed until the end of January. Tough call but if Adkins and co. feel his isn't up to the job, he needs to start looking for a club. However, what works in his favour is that FL clubs have the loan window so although he's still here and not going to be in our squad, theres always the possibility that a FL club will come in and take him on a short term loan. Plus, I think he does want to go to Yeovil. He was spotted the other day jogging around Yeovil in a Yeovil shirt so seems like he wants to live and play there just that they can't afford him due to his wage rise here.

Give him credit, he seems to get the initial story and then kind of waffles his way thorough the rest of it. I can see this one happening purely for the fact that his agent is the same as Rodriguez's - Ade Akinbiyi. Plus, other journalists over the last few days have rated his chances of coming here higher than going to somewhere like City so we'll see!

To be fair to the lad, it's pretty stupid of the club to announce a record signing in the public grounds of a hotel. Anybody could've taken a photo if they wanted to.

I think that even if it wasn't priority, it was too good of an opportunity to turn down i think. He was available at a price that will only rise over the next few years and was seen as more of a clever investment i think. Now thats sorted, we can spend more time getting the right players for other positions. JR was obviously a top target and now we can work through a shortlist for other positions and do some more shrewd deals.
