Totally agree. Someone who's been in this league before, albeit breifly, knows what to expect and at a great age to grow with the team.

Just thinking outside the box, is there any way that Di Matteo could be on his way here but to work alongside Adkins and become another coach rather than replace him? He offers Premier League and European experience and most probably has some good links after working at Chelsea.

Just checked online and last years prices were announced on the 3rd of June so the 5th sounds a little too late IMO. Maybe end of this month - this gives people more notice and more time to determine if they have the money.

I'm sure many of you don't know but Speedway rider Lee Richardson had a serious crash in Poland today and unfortunately died as a result of his injuries. He rides for Lakeside in England and was due to be down at Poole on Wednesday night. Many riders and media people are saying the track was awful and not fit for racing. He developed breathing difficulties and internal bleeding as a result of the crash. My thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time. RIP Lee.

I really liked this kit. Black worked well for an away kit and it kept a bit of red on it to show we're Saints! Something similar for this season would be nice.

That's a bloody good signing. Turned Forest's season around single handedly when he was brought into the side.

I suggested him last season. Great goalkeeper and at a brilliant age. Would definitely be happy to see him at St Marys. One for now and the future. We'll see, but I'd be happy if it happens.

Would be a great outlet for sure. Just think Phillips would suit our style better by drifting in and linking up with the strikers.

I said the other night that I'd sign Chris Eagles from Bolton after watching the Bolton v Spurs game and now seeing Bolton on MOTD, he again is their stand out player by the look of things. Plenty of confidence and not afraid to have a shot. I just think that him & Matt Phillips would sort our RM out instantly.
