Yes we were ****e at times. You conveniently forget that we started the season sluggishly, compounded by our Europa League exit and then had 8 defeats in 10 games over the winter period -yes 8 defeats in 10 games. Not even Pellegrino or Puel managed that.

Again try reading - I said we picked up momentum in the second half of the season and were excellent (many of the results you cite happened then, though it was also good fortune we played City while they were resting players ahead of a huge Champions League game and caught Tottenham after losing the league a few days before at Stamford Bridge).
Ans where we would be without Mané: didn't he score a brace and hattrick in the Liverpool and City games you cite? It's a moot point as Koeman was blessed to have him but take him out of the side and we looked desperately ordinary.
