  1. Hummel 1990 stripes, black shorts, black socks with the arrows running down. A svelte Le Tiss in a long-sleeved shirt gliding around the pitch = top stuff.
  2. Its finally hotting up
  3. That's the one - the black socks completed it.
  4. Didn't like the pinkish Hummel Denmark design but thought Hummel did our best stripes shirts.
  5. Milton, this is putting a strain on our mboard friendship.
  6. Maybe you got him confused with Sean Davis?
  7. Nice stony, nice cut on the nose -looks like he's been sparked out recently.
  8. Its negative news - ergo it must be true. Mboard rulez.
  9. You got that hat too?
  10. Can't get more British and home grown than stone island clobber.
  11. The matalan mafia was out in force in the Itchen - got a fair amount of stick from the stoke lot it seems. Saw one of the fat blokes rattling fences after the game.
  12. Agree would be a hoofers charter. Their thinking isn't exactly subtle. Think the partnership would work - both are big and pacey, a rare combination which is usually found in a little and large partnership. And West Ham doesn't need them to play on the deck or over elaborate. As long they're holding the ball up or running the channels, they'll fit the system fine. They're also pretty hardworking and regularly drop into midfield, meaning that 4-4-2 will be in name only. Unlike say Lambert, a Lukaku has the tools to create something from nothing, even from deep positions, so they'll retain a threat even if one or both players are tracking back.
  13. Would be interested to know as well. Want to do the same. Assume it's a renewal but worth double checking.
  14. You're the mboard alchemist, turning cheer into disgust. Sure you'll rustle something up. Whatever it is, it won't disappoint and will be worth the upload of everyone's favourite steptoe and son pic.
  15. Good news, no?
  16. We were ahead of them on GD at the time we played them, though they had a game in hand (man u).
  17. As most posters don't do away games, the whinging on here is redundant. Most new chants start (or die) at away games as that's where they get most traction or get shot down. Judging by the spurs/sunderland games, manc/inspiral carpets ripoff has stuck for good -way more than the cortese chant has ever done. It's cause is helped by the fact that it's become the default pochettino chant as there's nothing else sung for him. Not a fan of any manc chant, though on one level it's only an extension of the fashion of and the nostalgia for overrated manc music. But it's here to stay and if you don't like it, you're going to have to lump it.
  18. The means are partly built into the ends- we're signing youngish players with promise not only because they will help us succeed but because they should appreciate in value, covering costs and hopefully giving us a nice little return. In theory, there's no conflict between means and ends.
  19. Better than the one michael owen chant.
  20. Would rather have Lens than Capel, though they play on different sides. Our right hand side seems to be a bigger issue which is another argument for Lens.
  21. I would have taken our end over our start any day of the week - certainly know which team the opposition would have preferred to play. Never made any assumptions or predictions where we would finish -frankly couldn't care less as long as we stayed up. The fact is that we have improved over the course of the season -precisely why people are so disappointed with our lacklustre finish.
  22. Don't know-thought we were much more solid and confident in the last six. At the start, we could have been blown apart at any time, especially away from home. By the end of the season, we were putting ourselves in more positions where we could pick up points and possibly win games.
  23. Are you saying our last six games was like our start?
  24. Is he still befriending gay bacon strips in beefy's corner?
