How do definitions effectively require there to be poverty? Do a bit of reading before making a fool of yourself.

After John Flint, pompey poly's second most famous graduate

Alas its only a loan. Cabbage Face is like the Carrillo or Hoedt of mboarders. Nobody wants him on a permanent, so we're ultimately stuck with him. Come back fitter and hungrier little fella.

Interesting. Any other details?
-
Is it? Obviously bigger club but a lesser role than effectively being assistant manager.

A Sun journo tweeted about it a few hours ago.

Thanks for the update. You’re one of my favourite posters pal. You’re bit of a tryhard but I love the passion.

What is it? £33bn paid over several years and a portion not paid till the 2060s. It’s chump change in the context of government budgets and the size of national economies pal. Trust you to get bamboozled by it all

What’s happened to the mysterious Frenchman pal? Hope you haven’t pîssed your giro away backing your ITK prowess.

Cheers thanks. My question was more for those who don't have a subscription and how much of your material they'd be able to access. I like the Athletic (I'm a big fan of dane brugler's nfl draft coverage but that's for another day/thread/forum). It's difficult to have something to say in such a crowded and saturated space but the Athletic pulls it off. Will follow your work with interest.

Welcome. Are your articles going to be freely available? I have a year's subscription to the US version which is very good but costs an arm and a leg (I understand that journos can't be allowed to starve), so wonder if there are any plans to put content behind a paywall?

If we don't shift anyone, we'll be facing the same problem next window, again restricting our ability to bring in players. Indeed it might be even more difficult to shift those players as some will have had another disrupted season -hardly ideal circumstances in which to impress potential suitors- though with some players contracts running down, we might just decide to cut our losses a la Clasie.
-
Assuming nothing changes, it will be underwhelming, especially as Ralph was very patient in the Jan window (despite our parlous position) presumably because he had an eye on making big changes in the summer (as he himself suggested).

Where are you working? Zimbabwe?

It’ll be more than a couple of cents.

Not followed the news closely but have officials called the Dayton shooting a domestic terrorism case? From what I’ve seen, the Dayton Police Chief said there’s nothing to suggest a bias- or hate-motive behind the shooting. Which is to say there’s a difference between having political views which are merely incidental to the crime and committing a crime on account of those views. It’s so blindingly obvious it shouldn’t need spelling out.

£15m is a lot less than the figures bandied about when we were linked to him.

Agree. My old man is from the US and its a jarring experience to walk into a walmart or costco and see guns on sale, just a few aisles away from video games and sports equipment. Both parties have presided over this mess - and that's why any weakening of existing laws -like overturning regulation that prevented certain individuals with mental health conditions from buying firearms- is just plain nuts.
-
Sounds like you don't think Wee Ross will come good.

Gun laws have weakened under Trump.

Have the authorities called the Dayton shooting a domestic terrorism case?

The backstop, as currently designed, was proposed by the UK - the EU doesn't particularly like it because it gives the UK privileged access to the Single Market via NI but understands its necessity. The backstop is also supported by majorities on both sides of the border.

"The EU burocrats..." . You'll find that the democratically-electing European heads of state are instructing Barnier, not the other way around pal. What an absolute mess of a post. To repeat for the nth time, the EU is simply following the processes and principles that were in place long before the UK chose to leave the EU. Once the UK settled on its red lines (again another choice and self-imposed restriction), the parameters and content of the negotiations more or less wrote themselves. So what if the EU prioritises the integrity of the four freedoms and single market over short-term economic considerations? That's a wholly principled position and nothing to do with punishment (except for the truly hard of thinking and entitled snowflakes who don't like the fact that the EU has not rolled over to the UK's demands). You (or the AfD leader) have not explained why the EU should grant the UK the rights and privileges of membership without corresponding obligations and trade-offs? Nor have you explained how the UK's position is any different - it has decided that control of its borders and an illusory notion of sovereignty are more important than economics (at least there's a longer term economic rationale to the EU's position). As for parroting the nonsense of a far right German politician -the type we would have been fighting 80 years ago- I expected a bit better from you pal. Then again the Express and DT, like the Mail did in the 1930s, can't get enough of Germany's latest nationalist wunderkid. As for France running the shop, I thought the EU was the Fourth Reich - or at least, it is to some of your other MENSA buddies on this thread.
