  1. Proroguing Parliament.
  2. Half their fans probably don't know who he is. Going to Stamford Bridge and watching a 'club legend' come on at HT to the dumbfounded obliviousness of their home support is an annual treat.

    Che Adams

If you're referring to the stats, no he didn't. Out of our front creative three (JWP, Redmond, Ings), he was last.
  4. Par for the course, your first statement is utterly meaningless. Regards your second statement, what do you propose? If you want to elect an 'EU President', then fine but it necessarily means giving more power to EU institutions and reducing national sovereignty ('Presidents' -or more accurately the President of the European Commission are nominated by the European Council made up of heads of states of democratically elected national governments). In one sense, the democratic deficit that dim brexiters like you bemoan simply reflects the assertion of national control which you obviously approve of. As usual, there's a trade-off and you can't have it both ways - concepts that are totally alien to you.
  5. Pretty impressed by sheff u.
  6. Assume you'll be back in time for the xmas window pal?
  7. Several incidents in Itchen North IIRC. They've also now put cheap boarding around the rails separating the stands from the corporate boxes which makes it harder to see what's going on behind and get into the boxes.
  8. Les is going to text SFCReport to 60060 on you.
  9. Are you on klebstoff?

    Che Adams

Had a good game - an extremely versatile player who allows us to play in different ways.
  11. Does it? It wasn’t five yards out for a start. A friendly bit of advice as you fight your imaginary injustices: let the ball come to you, don’t go reaching pal
  12. Looked dynamic and unpredictable, even against the pace of Mane but it might be tough to get a look in with the players ahead of him. Ralph started the team I thought he should start against Burnley which only really leaves Adams/Redmond positions up for the grabs (and they’re pretty nailed on starters). Now Ralph might have gone more conservative because it was Liverpool and therefore will open things up next week; but equally I wouldn’t be surprised if he sticks with it till we get a few points and confidence under our belts which I have no problems with. Just wish we had those options at CM and CB.
  13. It was more like 12+ yards out but good try pal.
  14. What do you propose fans and the club do about obvious cases of racism?
  15. Nope. Even worse their patronising little letter to Itchen North ST holders made no reference to the fact that problems have flared up because of away fans celebrating in the boxes and home ends and being disrespect c**ts. Rather it implies that we've acted unreasonably by taking offense to the mere presence of away fans in the home ends. Which would be fair enough (within limits) if it wasn't utter horses**t.
  16. Object throwing looks pretty good value.
  17. I thought he was our most dangerous player last season against Liverpool (first half and independent of the goal). He’s decent in the air and good at getting us up the pitch. But I think Adams was brought in to do a similar job and obviously is an upgrade.
  18. But in one sense that’s exactly what we do (when you boil away the hipster bluff): we press and close sides down -in Hoj’s words “we want to be disgusting to play against”. Of course, you can defend from the front intelligently (i.e hunting in packs and setting traps or whatever the lingo is) or wastefully (as individuals at the wrong times). But Ralph’s sides do have room for a player with Long’s attributes. Indeed Ralph mentioned at the forum that defending better from the front was an important part in resolving our defensive frailties.
  19. Danso’s supposedly very quick.
  20. Pal the less time you spend reading garbage like the DT (echo chamber, confirmation bias central), the more productive you’ll be.
  21. Makes sense for the club to set out its stall as it panders to all the scousers celebrating in the boxes at the expense of Itchen North ST holders.
  22. Wasn't intended to be wise - just my two pennies. Struck a nerve pal?
  23. Pretty much. Steel seems to be working on a need to know basis with Goa.
