Heart says 2-3 - head says wheels off and it end's up 3-1. Much gnashing of teeth by all the usual culprits. It's winnable - there's a lot riding on Adkins skills as Manager and tactician, which he seems to have taken in his stride.
-
Looks pretty handy - if he's the right age and price, why not? A little project for Nige and his team to work on. In the meantime, he looks hungry and to be fair he muscled off two supposed Prem level defenders in one of those clips.
-
If were a betting man, I would place a bet of precisely £0.01 on this ******** happening.
-
The key attribute is - can he pass the ball out of defence? I think he can pass well, so not being a big brute shouldn't be overly important. We need a calm and collected pair of CB's - not players (like Seaborne) that (a) get caught the wrong side of their man and (b) panic under pressure and hoof the ball straight back to the opposition.

Come on, be realistic. If either side of the police courdon had broken down, do honestly think the majority of Millwall fans would have continued to shout a few harsh words? No - these guys are nutters that go away to hunt for trouble, so what would have happened would be (a) a scattering of so-called hard chavs knocking down innocent kids and old folk to get away and (b) a brawl that would see many hurt and © Southampton FC with a big black cloud hung over it due to bad press. We don't need that stuff - it's outdated. Save the banter for inside the ground - leave the game and go about your business in a safe and lawful manner. To goad other fans outside is just asking for trouble. -
Learnt his trade - got a good salary - every chance of breaking into Reading's team I would think. Next.

Makes it clear what a complete nightmare of a shambles the club was in prior to Lowe leaving. HOWEVER, for those wishing to dig up more dirt, beware! This is all in the past. We have come through the other side and we are on a positive roll now. The last thing the club needs now is negative press and distraction from what is water under the bridge. Discuss it on here perhaps, but you just know that this stuff will now hit the Echo and then the Mail etc. etc. Do we REALLY need to go through all that again? I think not!

Think we could make do without a striker, but a CB is an absolute necessity. Seaborne is starting ahead of Martin and Seaborne is not really the level we need to partner Fonte.

What big boys they were goading the Millwall from behind police lines. Pathetic. -
I don't understand this big love-in for Schneiderlin TBH. He's good and it's great he's on the bus, but Cork, Chaplow and even Hammond are more effective at the moment. Even Adkins says he COULD be the best midfielder in the league, but doesn't give him a start - I guess he means when he's worked harder at getting more consistency in his game.
-
I think you could apply that to most threads! lol
-
You going to hand out songsheets to everyone then?
-
Exactly.
-
So what? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say there - that flag is owned in a large part by everyone who donated. In terms of how often, a good start would be for it to come out at least once when I and most other supporters attend...i.e. a league game. After that I personally would like to see it at the start of every home game. Even on the memorial game it was displayed in the Chapel with no supporters to hold it aloft and frankly I thought that looked a bit lame. If a football flag is not hoisted up a flagpole, it should be held aloft by supporters IMO.

It's true we've been winning - I can't disagree with that. However, I've watched him and he is not performing at the same level as his teammates and not at a level that I believe he is actually capable of. We have substitute players all over the team that are supposed to place pressure on teammates to raised standards. If Guly is getting picked whatever his performance that system will soon break-down.
-
Absolutely. Pleased to see he's probably injured for the game tomorrow - no disrepect to the lad - just know that he would score against us.
-
I love the way you ask a question and then presume an answer! Do Liverpool only get their big flags out once a season? It's only a flag FFS - shows a bit of passion for the club and it's saviour. No harm done.
-
The JCL's are back. I know this because the hand towels in the gents have run out before the end of half-time. I would reckon on 25-26k tomorrow. Millwall will be bringing a big crowd.
-
We need Mike to come on here and keep us updated. In fact I would ask the MODs to put this up as a sticky for the time being so we can collectively keep tabs on any developments. Given many here donated a substantial amount of money, I would suggest a mini campaign to get the club to respond and hopefully get the flag displayed at home games would be more than appropriate.
-
Guly has not really earnt a starting place IMO and yet De Ridder has looked very sharp, so I reckon he deserves a start at home this Saturday.
-
Where is it? Why is it not being displayed at home games? Why did many of us bother donating when we've never seen it 'in the flesh'? Discuss.
-
Why pray tell? It seems to make no sense whatsoever.
-
I take it no-one knows the answer this then? Amazing.

Matchday eating...starts with a full English and a cup of tea. Get to town about 10.30am...get a McD supersize with fries, full-fat Sprite. Walk to pub...have as many pints as possible...walk to ground while eating a bacon and cheese roll. Watch 1st half...get pint and pie at half-time...watch 2nd half. Go to concourse, have a pint and a packet of crisps. Go to pub and have 4-5 more pints. Go home and prepare a salad for dinner - after all one's got to watch one's diet. (;
