Two completely different people. More than happy to be caught out, I'm not claiming to be ITK

Exactly. No idea how reliable but told its been done. Could be utter tripe. Liverpool lot getting carried away on twitter.

VVD to Liverpool is done - I'm told.

Really appalled with Virgil. I was told he was interested in moving away but wouldn't under any circumstance refuse to play or 'kick up a fuss' and trusted the club. He's gone from being my favourite defender of all time for Saints to on par with Dejan Lovren & Kenwyne Jones.

Calum Chambers is back home tonight near Emsworth/Portsmouth... Probably extended leave whilst Arsenal away but you never know

Thanks for the posts and honesty gents. She's now coming up for six months and has honestly been the greatest thing I've ever achieved. Pass The Dutchie, lots of love for your post; there's been split seconds of 'FFS give it a rest now' but nothing thats really tested us... until now. Little un is teething and she really is struggling. Thankfully my missus has been fantastic and as advised we've tried to take shifts when the going gets tough. Noone warned me how boring the first months are, they don't do anything! Now she's rolling, has the most amazing laugh, interacts and is showing very early signs of crawling.

It uses Football Manager database CS & PA and 'wonderkid' shortlists along with opta stats from majority of the leagues. Then players that fit the system are identified, reported on and then filtered down to a list of ten.

Only thing I was told this summer too (not from anyone ITK - just appears to be common knowledge to some working in same circles). Didn't expect it to be City as I've read he has quite the project going on at his Surrey residence.

Wasn't particularly impressed with what I saw, very similar mould to Florin Gardos and personally felt there was better options in both the U20 and U21 tournaments. Plenty of years ahead of him though to get his head down and work.

Sacked at Valencia in his debut season as a head coach. Valencia had sold all of their star names and only Ever Bangea, Dani Parejo and Roberto Soldado remained as stand out players. Fans protested against Llorente the club president who responded by sacking Pelligrino. Fans still blame Llorente and not Pellegrino, who turned up to training and chanted Pellegrino's name - Soldado had to go and apologise to them and publicly say they've let Pellegrino down. David Albeda went on record in the press saying the players let him down and he was a magnificent coach. -

Personally, his name ever came up when I researched football periodisation (he isn't the immediate first choice advocate of this Raymond Verheijen - Mourinho & briefly Bielsa are the most notable). As for those at work, one lad spent eight months in Spain and said he is highly regarded (likened him to a 'less wet behind the ears Eddie Howe) in terms of if a top five job came up he would be on all their shortlists (except Valencia). Tactically astute and a lot of flexibility. Common for coaches in Spain not to deliver functions or phases of play in training - simulator to Claude they would deliver 'maintenance activities' most commonly in Spain it's a rondo. Pellegrino fine tunes the margins so expect to see a fluid but premeditated style. So not really useful apart from the articles posted on here. -

Jesus Christ lad relax. I was just making the point that whenever football periodisation is brought up, it usually results in the same conversations weekly in my context. I wasn't digging your genuinely useful post or you out. No need to be so sensitive. -

No kid, where I work football periodisation is discussed daily & we get a lot of young coaches who base their philosophies from it with out really understanding what it really is. But apology accepted. -

Should we do well, you watch the football lovies on twitter bang on about his football periodisation beliefs. -
According to twitter (@TalkSaints), Will Hughes set to sign for Watford £8m. Harrison Reed to Derby.
