This could be the point! Although in the past even not particularly popular players at the time like Wright still went for reasonable amounts. And the shirts from the 5 - 0 defeat did ok. At least it will save me some cash, will bung a few extra quid in the collecting tin.

Before we jump on the bandwagon is this definite? I assume all it costs the club is the shirts and if they wanted to they could take the cost price out of the money raised.

I always understood that the players are given two of each shirt at the start of the season and if they need any more than that they have to pay for them. Not sure what would happen if an opponent ripped one. I heard that a Swedish fan arranged to get Andreas Jacobsson's shirt from him after a game and Jacobsson charged him for it.

I read the title and thought he was going on loan or something.

Makes me feel even older when I realise we have players born in the nineties:eek:

It was OTT. Some of our party got stopped coming off the train. Police had a word with a couple more as we were walking down the High Street. Buses on the way out were hilarious. Once full they waited for 15 minutes before we left and then we got driven down "Hooligan Highway", a dedicated road with gates at either end, to the station, I assume to tie in with the departure of the 17.29 to Paddington. We actually got out of the station and went to a pub. Any Swansea fans we spoke to were fine.

Any idiot saying the police were doing their job wasn't there. I'm not one to moan but this was the most heavy handed I have ever seen. As for the game, struggling for any positives at all. People are free to vent their frustrations against anyone and everyone.

A few London and Salisbury Saints going. Must be a new ground for just about everyone so I'd hope for a decent turnout.

I didn't think DMG wrestled the ball from Robertson. Loked to me like Surman picked the ball up and offered it to DMG because he had been fouled. Agree that someone should be nominated, where's Beatts when you need him. Never doubted he would score them.

If we were 5 goals better off at home compared to away in every pair of fixtures we'd be doing pretty well!
