  2. When compared to the amount of tickets Carlisle sold for their fitfth final appearance in what is a reletively insignificant trophy we can see the true size of that pathetic excuse for a football club. I bet the premier league held a party when they were relegated, what an embarrassment to the game.
  3. I don't reckon Charlton are as big, but agree with others. Incidentally, I'd say we were bigger than some (now) established Premiership teams like Fulham, Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn (when they're not winning the league)
  4. Mmm I agree. The cover looks like someone has just discovered the text box function on Microsoft Word and they're not afraid to use it.
  5. I don't think anyone would choose losing in the playoffs over winning a cup- if they do they need their head looking at. As said above, if we still had a chance of the playoff final now, I'd have to hink harder, but probably wouldn't be able to answer until the end of next season.
  6. The biggest fake since Al Faraj!
  7. If he could overcome his injury problems, Swansea's Ferrie Bodde, described as 'the Dutch Roy Keane', could do a job for us.
  8. Hello, is this open to everyone? I play 6 aside anyway and would definitely be interested in playing if you want/need another player. Could even ask my team if they wanted to enter if you're looking for more teams.
  9. Fonte can evidentally play RCB much better than he can play LCB
  10. Here's to Bobby, gone but never forgotten, and the next cup win.
  11. Was this linked to the cash-card idea?
  12. Long down dairy farm.
  13. Release: Semi, Perry, Murty, Thomas, Lancashire, Mcglaggon, Gillet and Pulis. Renew: both keepers, Connolly and Waigo & Antonio if possible. IMHO
  14. Bed and breakfastgate mark II
  15. Wahey- Forlan scored.
  16. Burnley could qualify for the Europa League next season through the fair play league, if Fulham win the Europa League this year and England stay within the top 3 of the European fair play league (they're third at the moment). I think it would prove to be an unnecessary distraction for a team that, after losing a couple of players, is unlikely to achieve a Newcastle-esque walk over of the Championship next year.
  17. I reckon the new kit is going to split the younger and the older fans. Most of the 'Older' i.e 40+ people I know are strongly against the idea of the sash, where as most people in their teens, twenties and possibly thirties are more open to it I'd say. Obviously there'll be anomalies.
  18. I have a horrible feeling that it's going to be a disaster. Like stripes with a sash over the top.
