I was looking for past results, because I thought the time we beat Tottenham 1-0 was on boxing day, but turns out it was on New Year's day. Anyway, it reminded me why I should hate Tottenham. The first sentence of the Spurs written article reads lol
-
I just remembered i haven't bought my ticket for this one yet. Does anyone know if I order it online I will be able to pick it up after the game on Boxing day?
-
I spend a lot of time (probably more than is good for me) looking on other teams' forums when we are due to play them in the near future, and I can confidently say that this is by far and away the best Forum I have been on; in terms of layout, ease of use, the quality and quantity of posts and the way it is moderated. So cheers for that! And Happy Christmas

Indeed. If the figure to break even is about 17,000 fans at a game, we/they'd be losing money by the bucket load.
-
Doesn't really bother me, because the rivalry is not just about the football. As long as the city of Portsmouth is still there we'll have something to hate.
-
No chance, would rather let them fold all together.

How come that was pulled? Not particularly offensive IMO!

Well no, I'm not wrong, because my point was that he has paid £44 for his tickets now and he would have paid that anyway.

I think you do have a point in that certain adults, those with children, benefit over others, but realistically there's no other way to get kids in; you have to offer their parents an incentive to bring them. It's not as if you're actually losing out is it? You'd have been paying the same for a ticket whether this offer was on or not, so there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
-
Lol calm down mate. It's a one-off deal designed to get more kids, the future generation of saints fans, to the game. The only way it is discriminating against honest fans is if dishonest fans take advantage; which quite obviously is not the club's intentions. With all due respect I think you need to have a look at it again and ask yourself whether this is 'arrogance', or an attempt by the club to make itself a family club again. Seeing as you are in the minority at being angry at the club I'd suggest it is the latter. Furthermore, in my opinion, although I'm obviously generalising a bit, the majority of people who are going to sit in the Chapel are either parents with their children, or older adults. Therefore the amount of people who are likely to try and 'play the system' is considerably smaller as that sort of demographic is not likely to want to sit in the Chapel anyway.

I watched an episode set in Shakespearian London a year or two ago and it was actually really well written. Lots of clever references to plays and characters; they'd clearly done their research.
-
The tickets might not even be different to a normal adult ticket anyway.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks she's a bint.
-
Is the attendance done by tickets sold or people through the turnstile?
-

Yet it is not uncommon in England and I was on the coach from London to Southampton for 6 hours earlier!

According to the Daily Echo, Saints away game at Colchester on the 28th is in doubt due to heavy snow fall, and that the club [Colchester] have called upon fans to help shovel the snow. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4815071.Saints__visit_to_Colchester_in_some_doubt/?ref=mr

Well he's been caught in the Co-Op, but he could've been sniffing around Tesco! Agreed about the slurry man lol.
-
Just got in, at 23:30, on a coach that was meant to arrive at 19:45, so again if the weather is bad, I'd strongly advise aiming for the earliest coach possible.
-
'Belly's gonna get ya', 'have it' and 'you know when you've been tangoed' stand out for me. Any advert that starts a playground craze is doing well.
-
Suuureeee He'll be on his way to Tesco before you know it!
-
Because there's a chance you might get your bum sniffed?!
-
I'd advise getting one that gets you to Southampton as early as possible, if the weather is as bad as it is today, as I am currently stuck in a huge traffic jam in London on a coach that is supposed to arrive in Southampton in 20 minutes.
