Maybe if you were trying to give the ratings before the match had been played, but it is perfectly feasible to rate a player's performance retrospectively. Yes it is still dependant on the opinion of the evaluator, but some players play better than others in matches, and that can be judged by a ratings system, in my opinion.

The echo's reports are always like this, it beggers belief how they can get player ratings so wrong.

I'd say that quite a few of the people you rely on to survive were probably students at some point.

Is there actually any proof that these people are all students though? The whole story, and those discussing it, seem to assume that everyone who is aged between 18 and 21 is a student. In reality the people I know who are my age and not students are a lot more likely to cause trouble than the students, plus the fact that they have recently started earning means they have a lot more money than the students to waste on booze.

What about comedy value? Ali Dia should be regarded as a legend IMO.

Perhaps it would be an idea to try someone else running to the back post instead of Hammond? I know he's scored a header from a corner this season but he's also missed quite a few good chances at the backpost. The ball does often get through, so surely if we could have Lambert or Jaidi on the end of it we could score a few more?

I wasn't born yet but it brings a tear to the eye everytime I see that goal and hear people talking about it. I can only dream that we might achieve anything like it in my lifetime.
