How many more players will we sign..?

Simeon Jackson pleeeeease! -
Good to have him off the wagebill. Really hope we can bring someone else in before the end of the transfer window. Simeon Jackson from Gillingham would be number one on my list. We need some pace.
-
Maybe we can get him at St Mary's for pre-match/half time entertainment again! I'm still not sure what that was about.

Lose 0-1. Just had a look on a Brentford forum and nearly all of their fans are predicting they'll win as well, must be quite confident in their own team, whilst I'm anything but confident in Saints.

Swindon 1 v Saints 0 Post-Match Reaction
for_heaven's_Saint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
LOL! You have to be joking right?! He was absolutely awful! Misplaced every passed, lost every header and barely made a tackle. I will be happy if he never pulls on a saints shirt again. -
Just appointed Lambert http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/8204016.stm

We should do that!

I managed to pick up the words on Saturday without having read the words on here beforehand, and I've been singing it ever since! Love the song and it will sound so good with thousands singing it. Just out of interest, was the second bit predecided or did it just sort of happen at the game? It went like this: 'la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la' All the way through until the end line of 'ricke lambert, he's southampton's goal machine.' It sounded amazing and gradually got a bit faster, then the first verse started again slower.

I was seriously considering just writing 'Lock Stock and Two flying season tickets' in relation to the fans at the Colchester game, and the gun references. Instead, I think i'll just get my coat.

He also doesn't go into the financial trouble that Charlton are in or the 12 players that Norwich have signed. It is simply a short summary of his tips for the season. He can hardly go into every detail of our situation and brush over all the other teams, he has to remain relatively impartial. Besides, maybe the betting site don't want people to know too much information?! They are in it to make money after all.

I can only assume that anyone who isn't an adult- Young Adults, Seniors and Juniors- are all concessions.

Just an example of another half-baked idea from Delia.

Chapel Stand now that it is all "Family Stand"

Amen to that brother. -
Yeah i agree, a two wins or a draw and a win against Huddersfield and Swindon and we could see even more fans next Saturday.

Chapel Stand now that it is all "Family Stand"
for_heaven's_Saint replied to Guy's topic in The Saints
I don't see why people can't sit in the Chapel without their family, providing they aren't swearing and shouting ect. When I've sat in the Chapel before, everyone has generally been quiet and just watched the game anyway, so I don't think it'd really make much difference whether there are more children around or not. -
would be a brilliant acquisition if true, would have thought he'd have quite a high price tag though.

Looks fast and strong and a typical predatory Striker. The ideal player to play alongside Lambert IMO. Think we many be dreaming a bit if we're expecting to spend another £1.5 million on a player though.

Lambert Biggest Name Signing Since?

Neil McCann? -
Although I didn't die, I did get hit by a coin inside SMS, whilst minding my own business watching the match. But now they're two pence down and I'm just fine, so the joke's on them.

Looking on a Millwall forum to see their reaction to the result I came across this thread about some of their fans smashing up a pub in Fratton; http://www.millwall.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/forum-view.asp?fid=5 They also mention on there that there was trouble in town after the game? Anyone see what happened or know how it ended? I'm not trying to glorify or condone the violence in anyway, just curious to see if the crouds of Millwall fans apparantly causing trouble were dispersed seeing as I'm heading to town later.

My heart says 2-0 saints, with the new manager, new owner, couple of new players, Millwall's lack of defence and home advantage all being on our side. My head is still undecided, with Millwall's good end to last season, our injuries and lack of power and strength, the sky curse and the fact that we haven't won our first home game for years all casting doubts. I think I will settle for a draw.

Very impressive!

I love the saints more than life itself.
