  2. Well i'm not sure how many chavs would have modest mouse as their avatar and be studying for an English Literature degree? I don't know, maybe it depends on your definition of chav
  3. worth trying though innit. n you don't have to be a chav! I'm not lol

  5. I wasn't there tonight but, generally speaking, I like to stand up at games. The reason people get annoyed and 'throw their dummy out' is generally because of inconsistencies within the stewarding. There's nothing more annoying than being told to sit down when you can see opposing/other fans standing up. I can see why it could hack you off that people kick up such a fuss, especially in itchen block 4, nevertheless I can understand people getting annoyed when they are told to sit down if they can see that the stewards clearly have double standards when it comes to others.
  6. Lallana was injured, he picked up a knock against Cardiff I think. I thought Schniederlin looked fairly competent on the right yesterday, although there were a few moments when James was left a bit exposed. Saying that, Lallana isn't the most defensive of players.
  7. Yeah you can buy tickets on the night, it'll just cost you an extra £2.50. So that's £30.50 for an adult ticket
  8. I think we should make this our anthem from now on, to show unity n that:
  9. 'Another outstanding first half performance by saints'
  10. The game is off I'm afraid, just read this on the Watford site: http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~1547935,00.html FOLLOWING a risk assessment carried out this morning the decision has been taken to postpone tomorrow's (Saturday February 7) Championship fixture between Watford and Southampton at Vicarage Road. Due to continuing adverse weather conditions, with snow and ice having hit much of the country in the past five days and the low freezing conditions forecast overnight, the risk to the general public if the game went ahead could have potentially been too high...
  11. I'll get myself a nice cold beer and sit down to watch the draw for the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy
  12. The lead in 'Lost in Translation' as I think there's been some confusion somewhere along the line between what comes out of his mouth and what happens to our football club
  13. lol. Can't say I've ever met either mate, or ever had any sort of contact with either. I just follow Saints home and away and have a good laugh with others in London. Maybe your idea of cozy differs from mine slightly
  14. They've just copied and pasted the story from the Echo I think you'll find, a lot of the London Saints might not read or be aware of the Echo site. They are certainly no PR machine for mr Lowe
  15. I will miss trying to make sense of your post-match reaction Jan, you're a great bloke but out of your depth in the championship
  16. the future's sh1te, the future's orange
  17. For me it has to be Rasiak against Derby in the play-off semis, I swear the floor of the stand shook when that went in
  18. Yup I'll be there, god knows why
  19. I'm up for getting in contact/liasing with the media for sure, I definitely think they'd cover it
  20. Although Saga didn't make much of an impact today, he didn't get a great amount of service. Nevertheless, I think we surely have to play him at home, as those are the games where we are creating chances but not converting them.
  21. Looked a really strong, solid and experienced centreback and exactly what we have been missing in my opinion. One particular moment that stood out for me was towards the end of the first half when one of their strikers/midfielders turned him, yet he still managed to get a foot in and cut out what would have probably been a one on one with KD. I don't think Lancashire would have done this or one half the tackles and headers that he did today. He also showed a good degree of common sense in that he seemed to know when to header the ball down or pass to one of our players and when to get rid of it and clear the danger. Another thing we have arguably been lacking (think 1st goal against plymouth on boxing day, when Lancashire should have hoofed the ball out but instead gave it back to them to score.) All in all I'd say 'Size' definitely mattered, and could well be vital to our survival.
  22. I thought Schniederlin had a great game today, as he generally does most games. He made some terrific passes and held the midfield together well, collecting a lot of loose balls. Is it me or is he often the difference between a win and a loss?
