  1. First sign of criticism more like it and as we are all so loyal and supportive he would be lucky to make October.
  2. My memory may be a bit fuzzy but what was Keegan's success at Man City? a promotion from the CCC to the Premier League. Joe Royle took city from L1 to the Premier League in successive seasons and like so many other clubs they only held on to their premier league status for 1 year. However, Royle not Keegan was the catalyst for their revival so whatever happens let's not allow history to be rewritten on the unjustified belief that a KK media circus would add 10k to the gate beyond the first few games. Good to see Crouch shunning the limelight and sprinkling his fairy dust again. Still, must go and put on my vest and underpants as I'm off down the gym to watch some reruns of 3 lions on the shirt and all that.
  3. Quick side step into denial Derry, you're pathetic. Is that why you deleted some of your post to 'John'. (No doubt as a result of a quick email from a n other). Didn't read like a 'phish' more a statement and a very accurate one I must say. Arguments are good, mud slingling a little less respectful. Please don't insult my intelligence by now starting some pretence that this was a deliberate sham to out me, to specifc Derry I'm afraid. Still it won't achieve anything, I'm a nobody and not the bloke on the back of the Echo campaigning for pledges. Anyway how is that fall back plan going? How much do we have pledged now or did you stop your efforts under an assumption we would get bailed out? Hopefully, this rumour re Pinnacle is not true but what are your plans Derry if it is?
  4. Derry, That is disappointing on two counts. Firstly, that the person who told you has severely damaged his integrity and significant trust I had in him given the nature of our correspondence. That perhaps is the most disappointing thing of all and clearly I have been naive in that matter. Secondly, that having been told in confidence (you and who else is now open to debate) you choose to post a few snippets on here. Remember I am a Saints fan who just holds an alternative view. I don't think you can add to my problems because they are worse than the last time I spoke to our mutual contact. However, I doubt I am not the only person to be going through some very tough and personally tragic times thats makes you want at times to question your own existence and being a loyal S/T holding fan hasn't helped me or the prejudice I face from the likes of yourself. I don't want sympathy and no doubt will get shed loads of abuse but sometimes like this club for me the only way is up and on that I am in the know. Good luck in your prejudices and ability to comment on criticism without betrayal. NC
  5. I am someone's brother
  6. Source? Or have you been Googling again or talking to someone's neighbour as seems a popular past time in being ITK.
  7. Interesting comment, care to expand Derry?
  8. I agree Nick, always felt the old adage of 'make you words as effective as your silence would have been' is very true. Maybe he logged in on the off chnace and couldn't believe what he read and is now ploughing through his contacts to see what he can harvest from the rumour. Do we know who the farmer is btw? Not based in Gloucestershire is he?
  9. IMO the volumes are now being flushed down the pan with our hopes for a brave new dawn.
  10. Cue the drum intro........ Something in the air tonight, oh Lord. Shall we have chat about ticket pricing? What do Eastleigh charge for a s/t?
  11. Not the bl00dy neighbour again
  12. Really, didn't realise that with the deadline on Friday.
  13. Do you still have the hammer?
  14. Not really, happens during due diligence. The Canadian company looking to buy GM Europe are apparently close to pulling out. Buyers perogative if after the survey you don't like the results or risk/rewards you keep your powder dry for another day. Rich and successful individuals don't become such by blowing a few million to satisfy some deluded fans who failed to support what coud have been a going concern. l Lets hope its not true.
  15. In rides Leon Crouch and the Pledges unless a few start tucking into some humble pie and embrace Jackson and Green or even the Swiss connection. All is not lost if this spurious rumour is true but certainly begining to see why administration was such a good way of getting rid of our nemesis Lowe.
  16. Any truth in the rumour Mike Osman will be in charge of providing exittainment?
  17. As oppose a myopic and gratuitous ar5e licker? My guess is MLT will welcome different opinions and won't believe he has all the answers and unlike my posts all he will get from yours is the ability to save a few quid on Andrex.
  18. The neighbour knows, although he is currently going up and down the M27 trying to find where his house actually is being driven by a deluded cab driver who keeps talking about his brother who knows but doesn't know. Its an effing dream - the type where you need to be somewhere for an urgent appointment but the most outlandish and unbelievable things conspire against you and then you wake up and relieved it's Saturday morning......
  19. Shall we have a testimonial to help him out?
  20. That'll be a no then
  21. Some friendly milk may have just seeped into my underpants. Fairy tales never turned me on.
  22. Yes indeed, an absolute nightmare. Lets recruit a man who turned his back on management and football completely for 3 years and came back to the 'only club he would come back for' and proved he neither had the ability or the fight to tackle the modern game IMO. We also have reports on here saying that KK has allegedly said he is happy and does not want to come back to football management again as I think he has lost his motivation for the game at the professional level and enjoying his grass roots involvement and fair play to him for that. So of all the possible candidates for the job most on here are clamouring for Pinnacle to recruit a manager who does not seem to have the stomach for the job anymore based on the fact he was a great player for us for a while about 25 years ago. So what he played in our greatest team so did Armstrong so let's give it to him, or god forbid, McMenemy, LOL. At least Armstong wants the job which I guess would be a start or alternatively we could give the job to a young ambitious manager with current experience that doesn't require some tired old faces having to get involved to persuade them to come to SMS. Lets get a manager because they actually want the job and has some RECENT SUCCESS on their CV and because they want the challenge and are hungry to take the club forward. KK, reign it in, if Pinnacle recruit him it will in the long run only prove one thing IMO. Lets think football not fairy tales.
  23. But it was for charity and now he has the opportunity to do another few hours for the benefit of the community that hopefully won't include a round of golf. Litter picking along the M3 Winchester would be useful.
  24. Agreed, but is it really justice? Leaving the scene of an accident and whilst drinking and driving is heinous in any circumstances when you are driving a tank of a vehicle it's even worse IMO. What would it have taken to lock him up and teach him a proper lesson? In the news this week we see reports about the case of the drunk Belgian Tanker driver killing a decent hard working man driving his tractor and the courts telling the Belgian driver to expect a custodial sentence. So the fact Lundekvam didn't kill anyone does that lessen the crime? Not unless luck comes into it as surely it was luck that no one was seriously injured or killed. So why is he not serving a custodial sentence?
  25. Agreed, if they are more interested in the name and media coverage for the club as oppose to actual success and respect from football experts /fans to a laudable 5 year rebuilding plan. May as well give the job to McMenemy who is probably 101st on the list of desired candidates.
