IMO he can't knock failure to complete on one side and pat himself on the back for not following through a good idea on the other. Derry may be clear but that doesn't mean his logic makes sense to others. No doubt Derry can stand up for himself tomorrow and betray a few more confidences by attacking my personal circumstances as oppose responding to the criticism. Don't really care anymore as by next Friday it will hardly matter anyway unless you like the Lounge and the Muppet Show.

Still don't understand why having made a start on a backup plan you decided not to continue your efforts in the background in the eventuality a disaster occured. Now we have a disaster you tell us there is no time to mount a rescue because you stopped your disaster recovery plans 2 months ago? I don't think Jackson or Lynam have scuppered our rescue plans, did they ask you to stop? In the current economic climate there was always going to be a risk the monies could not be raised but it seems you chose to stop paying the insurance premiums and now we are flooded and in fear of drowning but it's not your fault you decided to put all your eggs in one basket? Illogical having come up with a decent enough idea in the first place.

The club ensuring us ST holders didn't waste our money renewing in March as usual. Well done Rupert Lowe you saved me over £700, you always had the fans interests closest to your heart. Deep respect for your efforts missing you and at least 5,000 deserters.

I don't know if he paid it or not but if he did then surely a man of his business expertise would not have thrown money at the likes of Lynam's alleged backers? Would he? Crouch IMO has made a few errors of judgement and this is just another one if it is true. If he had held back then perhaps this sorry saga wouldn't have got this far, IMO.

If that is the case not great credentials for prospective chairman of a football club. I also find it strange that MLT had never met Fialka before because if he had why would his TV appearances bother him or was that the real reason for hiding the identity of the money man? Fry must be culpable somewhere in all this mess but equally MLT's reputation is on the line IMO and I would like an explantion from the one man in all this that you would hope would not spin us a line. The man who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new and my one over riding hope is that MLT comes out of this wiser and stronger and is offered the same role if not similar with any new backers. As I said on another thread his reputation and revered status does not exonerate him from providing us all an explanation as to why it has gone so hideously wrong. I hope he is now assessing the situation and reviewing the facts to provide an explanation and cement his reputation as a potential director of this club.

I don't doubt that but I hope he is doing some major cage rattling and the results of which don't take long.

There was mention that some of us would know the money man but he wouldn't be a household name. Now we know his identity there is there a rumour that he once appeared on 'Homes Under The Hammer'? Still if he is successful at least he can maximise his time in the office as his Mum will have his tea on for when he gets home from work experience. Who is TL trying to kid? IMO Pinnacle will be a disaster for this club, based on recent observations and Fialka may even top the Jackson legend. I can only hope Duncan Holley is sharpening his pencil although he may have trouble selling the book as non-fiction as it seems more like a surreal fantasy.

I read virtually past caring as being the exact opposite. I feel like I am past caring but of course we will never get to that point in reality. Like you Gordon I watched and re watched the SSN interview last night and the conclusion was inescapable. I agree with everything you say and unless Fry has been duped by the exit of the real money man how could this have passed due diligence and why has MLT been so quiet? I am sorry he has been dragged into this mess but that does not exonerate him from providing an explanation at least from his own perspective.

I'm in a similar quandry. My heart says yes but based on how this has unravelled over the past few days my head now says No. It all seems a bit .....amateurish IMO and MLT aside the other protaganists are not giving me any confidence they have the expertise to run a football club.

Quite, but can you confirm that Fialka is director of NW8 HOLDINGS LTD and if so the details of how you sourced this information. I personally found his interview on SSN very worrying and I would like Mr Fry to furnish us with his due diligence file he completed on Pinnacle prior to giving them exclusivity. Judging by the majority of comments and information to date I doubt its a very large file. I don't want to judge a book by it's cover but that interview gave me no confidence we are dealing with a millionaire let alone a multi-millionaire. It wasn't what he said (anyone can talk the talk) but the surroundings and his persona. Bring on the Swiss.....please.

What about, why they insist on maintaining a sense of fair play and that the club like the other 71 adhere to the spirit of the rules?

Judging by these few posts I'm glad I couldn't be ar5ed to go and turn the TV on to listen to what seems to be another repeat albeit different channel. Is TL appearing on Dave next?
