  1. Jesus christ fonte.....
  2. Dunno why yoshi gets so much stick on here, i like him, honest player who is pretty steady for a backup cb, he hasnt looked out of place today against the physical bony
  3. Bony deserved that, tbh thats a relief as he has been playing well, really causing us problems, he has been chucking himself around too much though
  4. Hmmm so im seeing the fact that they are walzing through our midfield am I ? They've bossed us, basically doing to us what we did to teams last year, high press and high intensity We are much better than this, barely started yet Fwiw I like jwp a lot, but its about horses for courses, swansea were always going to control the ball and so wanyama would have been an effective shield.
  5. Are you joking ? Getting overrun, taking too long on the ball, 2nd to every ball and losing every 50/50 You can tell its not going for them as on a few occasions they've not come to pick the ball up from the cbs as if they dont want it. Silly booking, will be lucky to keep 10 men on here
  6. We really are slow to every ball, swansea look bang up for this
  7. He has made a mistake playing jwp ahead of wanyama for me, could do with extra prescence in midfield
  8. Div 1 was a completely different era of football, you almost have to be ruthless to get ahead these days. Ive said all along Im a football fan first and foremost and as such footballing success for me is rated higher then any other thing attached to the club. Everyone else is welcome to their opinion thats just mine. At the end of the day cortese brought massive success and helped to grow the academy and install winning and successful techniques for squad prep. Im greatful for that but as his ego grew he had to go If the new board can integrate a level of success with a much more approacheable management standard then we will have an excellent board on our hands. They recovered well this year, im excited to see where they take us As for the kit I dont really care, the new ones the best striped kit we've had for ages (the designs get boring after 2-3 seasons) so ive liked the changes, though last year was pretty crap.
  9. Lowe made a boar load of mistakes, but ultimately until the end he had saints best interests at heart, started the academy and built the stadium. Cortese made plenty of mistakes but to say he was anything less than a success in reality is wrong, a hard nosed businessman with plenty of ego however a lot of the future success is likely to be built on his foundations. The new board, started off making mistakes, probably based on naivety, despite what looked like a bleak start to the season they've proven many people wrong and seem to have continued on from the success brought by cortese however with a lot more emphasis on reengaging with the fans So all in all the process of moving forward as a football club is dependant on the success of a multitude of factors, Id say no chairman or board is free of negative press or criticism, all you can ask is that the positives outweigh the negatives. And I think thats something we can agree on.
  10. Im not entirely sure it was 'designed' to offend as such, Id also argue it really isnt that offensive, but then these days there is always someone somewhere ready to play the victim
  11. The graphics are phenominal, it is a bit repetetive however, Im now up to lvl 21 due to being at home incapacitated this week. Overall slightely dissapointed, with all the hype about it Im left wanting more but I still keep going back and picking it up so it cant be that bad.
  12. There are a lot of delicate flowers in the world
  13. The opposite to the indyref and everything Ive looked at, to me it seems its a no, its close though
  14. Isnt there some sort of implication if they dont contribute to the national debt ? I read somewhere if we disagree to a currency union and they do not repay the debt then it could affect their credit rating ? Besides surely they will need to fund there own pension pot, I hope to god we as a nation arent going to pay for scottish national pensions, aswell as a complete withdrawal of any welfare liabilities.
  15. Dec or jan it is then, shame as Id loved to see him back earlier but realistically id rather he didnt reinjure and our squads big enough now to cope till then
  16. We need a lovren stand without a roof....... That can go to liverpool
  17. Im sure your personality shines through.............. Oh
  18. He's always been a ****, has basically ****ed off every changing room he has been at and looks like he's lost newcastles aswell. Highly egotistical, the blokes a tit And he didnt leave saints due to a 'players wive' it was as he'd basically decided to leave anyway
  19. Clynes better as a high rated silver than a low gold, clyne, jwp and mane will be decent players in a silver team Long more physical than pellè ? Ok then
  20. Theres always snippets of truth that gets blown out of all proportion. I fully expect many clubs are eying up our players, the journos rightly or wrongly are continueing the theme of the summer. Hopefully the club is able to fight off all but the highest of bids and the players are now settled with the current set up As for utd, I expect they'll spend a bit but surely not too much due to FFP
  21. Thought we were told players unrest was nothing at all to do with board ambition ?!? Besides, it ended an excellent window within which ultimately keeping hold of our players will be the biggest bonus. Perhaps a GK if Boruc leaves. Being greedy Id take Benteke
  22. This, I said the same thing to my old man yesterday
  23. He isnt near the first team IMO, he really needs to go out on loan and get some games under his belt imo
  24. Will be a good test this, looking forward to it, ill be able to watch this one considering my ankle is in pieces since yesterday. Personally I wouldnt change much expect for dropping either Cork or Davis for Wanyama. The defence will need more protection from Swansea who like us wont give up the ball cheaply. Itll be close, probably a draw
  25. Id have Rickie back but ultimately he'd probably get less game time here with Pellè, long, rodriguez and mane all looking for a space up top. He also never looked great in the lone striker role that pellè now occupies. Dont get me wrong he looked great from a deeper position but I expect the reason Ramirez went was due to RK employing a 433 instead of a 4231. Im not sure we need many players in this window, perhaps a junior RB or a GK to replace Boruc but ultimately not much else. Such was the excellent end to the window.
