  1. Yeah agreed, we weren’t terrible first half but we just weren’t joined up at all, there were too many holes, not enough possession based play and it fekt like we were rushing things Much much better second half, Shea’s quality and Armas work rate shined through Manning concerns me a bit, Im not writing him off by any means as on the ball he is very good but he doesn’t seem great defensively and again (not his fault) we’re absolutely powderpuff at defending crosses Still… 9 shots on target, 2 against.. even playing relatively poorly we’re very creative
  2. We turned down an early offer but who knows 🤷‍♀️
  3. This is pretty much why you get flurries of transfers towards the end of a window, its where the better deals are
  4. Why can I not get anything to embed any more ….. nevermind he deleted it Here’s the screenshot

  6. KWP completely lost his man, but you don’t don’t just dangle a leg when a cross comes in
  7. Ill write up a proper assessment later but for me; - Adam Armstrong was excellent in that second half, stopped looking for the late run ‘as much’ and offered more passing options and we really benefited from it, works so hard too and all from an unfamiliar position - Shea Charles, a few dodgy passes aside he was a HUGE presence in the middle of the park, and he needed to be… really impressive - Bazunu, not much to do but did well with the things he needed, come and cleared danger late on, hopefully gives him confidence - The back line still worries me.. all of them
  8. Agree But he’s KWPs man here, we don’t do a good enough job defending the cross of course but thats pathetic from both KWP and Stephens https://twitter.com/skyfootball/status/1692880213586096190?s=46&t=MqpubAzkQD51r3m_v775zw
  9. ? It was Stephens dangled leg but ok
  10. At fault again
  11. Nobody has tracked a runner, manning slips, Stephens just dangles a leg
  12. We’re in the Championship, we’re going to lose our best players
  13. Yeah but something about not having VAR is refreshing etc
  14. Our final ball is terrible
  15. Arma is trying to run in behind every time, and that means we don’t have enough passing options infront of their backline, its a problem imo
  16. Good move for Tella but Id be hugely dissapointed for anythibg under 20m
  17. De Zerbi ? He’s probably one high level sacking away from being poached tbh
  18. Yeah but they have a lot more consistency than us, we didn’t really have a committed owner… as much as Kat was comfortable sustaining Marcus’ legacy she didn’t really put a great deal of effort into enhancing it Also as much as everyone hated Les Reed I genuinely think Krueger was the bigger issue, it created an odd power dynamic within which there was no obvious person taking the lead, both wanted the responsibility without accountability However Brighton have done an exceptional job, they’ve also stood firm on player prices, which has helped reduce risk financially but I do honestly think they’re probably at their glass cieling now
  19. It’s unsustainable for any club not backed by a multi billionaire unfortunately
  20. I was talking to a mate tgats a Brentford fan the other day.. and for me its always easier replacing if you’re in the lower levels of the prem, but now, both them and Brighton are trying to stay in the top half, so they’re shopping in a different league, and the amount of ‘good’ players reduce significantly You’re exactly right, like us the issue is, like the Caicedo fee for example… they may sign 3/4 players but if 2 of them don’t work out its a downward trajectory
  21. Che has traveled So hopefully he starts
  22. We’ll see this today I think, RMs comments to me sounded like Che won’t be available, no inside knowledge from me unfortunately but I ‘don’t’ think he’ll be around today… shame really, if he is available then Id start Che at 9 and play Arma off the left instead of Edozie as I think his runs are harder to track from there, especially if Che is being a nuisance The midfield is potentially an issue… neither Armstrong of Alcaraz track so Shea will be busy today, Stu won’t have 90 in him either, so expect an Aribo appearance around 70.. probably even worse at tracking Overall Im confident, Plymouth aren’t as good in the transition as Norwich but they do have pace up top and so we’ll need to be careful of balls over the top A Saints 2-1 win for me, Alcaraz and Arma
  23. Who exactly have we sold at the first sign of interest exactly?
  24. Yeah agree, I think we needed a CB in before now, we know ABK is off and Lyanco isn’t up to it
