  1. What is 110_persaint's view on this ? Personally I have always fancied cuba
  2. Yup, has been a decent buy and great servant but its time to move on
  3. Boruc Clyne Anderweireld Lovren Shaw Wanyama Schneiderlin Stoch Ramirez Rodriguez New striker Davis, Fox, Yoshida, Lallana, Lambert, Cork, Mayuka That'll do !!!
  4. Cant see us losing Jose unless we bring in some form of replacement, maybe the rumblings we have taken a look at Anderweireld are true Hope so, great player
  5. It was more the timing Alps
  6. Have been told and looked as though it was around the 50,000 mark
  7. Is there not a HCDAJFU thread for this ?
  8. Steady on
  9. Completely different players and to be honest Cork isnt even the best midfielder we have
  10. At least he only had one bad day....
  11. From what I see of Norwich they are strengthening what was essentially a weak spine, the players they have picked seem to be good types. It wouldnt surprise me at all if they ended up mid table.
  12. This one will go till the end of the season, he is waiting on liverpool but I reckon he will end up in the prem anyway Well done for MLGing MLG though
  13. Bless the scottish faithful, they truely believe that just because they are the big boys of Scotlands equivalent of the Blue Square Premier they can actually judge players playing regularly in the premier league. Are they a big club ? Of course they are but in terms of quality I think they are nothing more than a top championship team. We bought Wanyama, Hooper is linked with Hull and Forster ? They really do need to get a grip, Id love to play them pre season and hopefully stuff them.
  14. Not bothered he didnt walk at all, hotspot didnt show anything and the way Agar wasnt out and Trott was out was disgracefull Much better batting display though, confident now. Where the hell has Alps gone ? Oh yeah noones been out for a while
  15. We just need to stay in now I think, at least till the end of the day Two nearly moments there, how Broad was NOT out there ? Speechless
  16. Listen polaroid, you got your rep points son, I dont doubt that having to drive up to that **** hole on a fairly regular basis had a large part of my hatred, that coupled with doing part of my degree at Reading Uni before the company realised it was indeed a **** hole. Plus you can add the fact whilst I stayed up in reading for the weeks I was at Uni there was **** all to do. Ill take your festival point, but this isnt the 100 worst festivals book, nor is this the Arts section. This is TMS polaroid, and Im not taking none of this culture crap, the only arts we allow here has an F infront of it
  17. Im confident of another Australia batting collapse and confident that Agar hasnt got another big innings in him, hopefully Clark dives for a catch later and twinges that dodgy back a bit more. Still, we need to get over 300 atleast here IMO, its been a decent few days for the bowlers, but Agars refusal to leave yesterday has cost us big time.
  18. How did I manage that ? Lol Good spot trousers
  19. Exactlu, which is why I imagine dynamism in the forward line is on the forfront of Poch's mind ?
  20. Having worked extensively in reading, it is indeed a s!thole, a nothing town with no nightlife and full of yuppies. I never want to stay for a coffee let alone the music !!
  21. Difficult to integrate possessive football in the premier league, and certainly in the way we play. Hussle possession and then get forward in order to profit from possession being won from a team high up the pitch. It would actually be worse for us I think to hold onto the ball for too long a la Barca or Arsenal as we dont have players who can be that incisive or fluid in the front line (atm) I do agree however that its possibly a direction in which Poch wishes to progress. Personally I think it puts us into a strong position, so long as we can deal with a long ball game (wanyama in front of an adequate defence ? Push the line up ?) then we should be very tight. I think Boruc would potentially be a good signing for your dream team ! What we desperately need is wide pace and a dynamic front man who we can utilise to move the ball into attack quickly once possession has been stolen.
  22. I was in a UPS sorting office the other night, not difficult to realise how things CAN go wrong... As for the Royal mail, I struggle to see it also
  23. When we lost Ramirez towards the end of the season, and Lallana wasnt firing, it seemed to me Lambert dropped too deep and so we had a pretty toothless front line. Address this with two dynamic signings, one striker and one winger with pace and I honestly think we could reach our best placed finish
