Comparing Ramirez' playing style to that of Morgan and Cork basically shows up the complete lack of knowledge in the anatomy of a football team. Therefore it is an opinion yes but it isnt any more relevant than asking why Boruc hasnt won many headers this year. He certainly has shown me that he is able to put a shift in where his role allows. If he were to be all over the pitch then he would be woefully out of position. He got 5 goals and 3 assists, putting that into perspective thr guy we should replace him with got 4 goals and 4 assists despite being a level above him and playing behind a player of Soldados talent He doesnt suit the english game, we dont actually know why but one assumes its because he doesnt play rush goalie very well

Exavtly, which is the reason we deploy the defensive midfielders behind them in order to do the donkey work and allow those infront to play the football they are there to do. Ramirez didnt have a great season, but it certainly wasnt as bad as some on here make out, yes he held onto the ball a bit too long at times and at others made 'the wrong pass' but when I watched closely I was honestly saying to myself 'who has he got to pass to ? Who is making runs ?' The everton game was a prime example of this, and a game that he ran himself do death in (how people say he doesnt work hard is a joke really) he got forward in many a key position but who was there ? Noone, Lambert did his best to waddle up the pitch but even J Rod and Punch were behind him 9/10 times. Do people really want to see the no 10 chasing back to his own box ? Really ? Jesus

We wont loose this series and the selectors obviously see Root and Bairstow as two decent up and coming batsman. If they do not learn valuable test lessons from this series then they wont learn anywhere

No you need mobility ahead of him, his game is different then that we play ATM, he wants to drive forward and have players around him to play the ball too. That doesnt really work when your striker is winning the ball on the half way line and he is more advanced than the wide men.
