Nice if it were away, home kit is like a southern liverpool
-
True, just get a decent nights sleep and a decent breakie in the morning before.... Else youll be blowing faster than a prossie on a quota
-
It gets easier, well, then you have to go harder but put it this way you are gonna get a massive hit out of 30 mins. Anyone who spends regularly more than a hour a day working out is wasting their time. (That includes weights)

A stone or two ?!? Connor connor connor Get yourself out and play some 5aside or join one of the pure gyms Youll never keep it up at home

I agree with this. Someone mentioned Gerrard before and his role as Liverpool captain, IMO he is/was one of the best captains in the PL in his prime. So many games he basically grabbed agame by the scruff of the neck and made sure those around him followed his example. Terry is much the same, will give his all for England and Chelsea. Thats what you really want as a captain, for me as a midfielder myself Im not sure Adam would be able to rally me on the pitch or particularly inspire me to dig my heels in. The sheer amount of effort Morgs seems to put in, for me, would make him my captain Nb - thats notjing against Adam BTW, good lad, puts a lot of effort in on the pitch and on the training pitch, I just have strong opinions on a captain thats all

"Could be the next johnno quick"

They are just not that good ATM. No real spine to the team, poor in midfield reletively speaking, and have no top striker
-
We certainly did last year, we were knocking on everyones door trying to get a reply by all accounts, unfortunately many players want you to have got over that first season and make an impact. By all accounts we are going back and even going above some of those we looked at. Seems as though players are listening now aswell. Personally I think Ince will be a great little player, Sinclair is decent too but he lost his way at City. TBH you can get a better quality of player from abroad for less money. One things for sure, the TW is certainly more exciting this season than it has been for the last 5-6
-
Speaking of Redmond, Im surprised more stories of young Will Hughes interests havnt come up. Looks a real player him, not massively pacey but skillfull. Id still love us to grab Ince, I think its achievable too, we have the cash and his dad wants to ensure he is playing first team football at a decent club, we can offer that cant we ? Sinclair ? There are a lot of good options out there if you have the cash and ambition.

Ever ever Banega - He's gonna run himself over
-
Physical midfielder looked at by the top 4 at times. Reminds me of a younger Viera/Toure. Strong, athletic and decent on the ball. Top signing if true
-
Pretty much how I see things, whenever I have seen Banega he sits deep dictacting play but also mops stuff up at the back, much like cork does now but with a bit more class. Itll also allow Morgan a little bit more freedom in his marauding around the pitch. Not watched Wanyama much, he is big, strong, athletic but I do see Garretts assessment of him as being like Viera and Diame. And a little like Toure. Box to box player that can break up play and also help in attack, pure athlete. Id take either TBH On another note, De Bruyne and Affellay are looking to move. Also Tello isnt getting a lot of games at Barca (I know we enquired before) any of them would be brilliant signings
-
Right, Im basically gonna have to buy this tomorrow now
-
If he has anything about him he will just see it out and make Ashley sack him, he OWES them that much.....
-
Nor do I buy he was decent in champ, decent in scottish football, decent in CL and has a bit more about his game then just goals. As I said before, dependant on options he isnt worth the risk BUT at 5m or so I think its a decent gamble
-
Depends were we are aiming, will be a good mid table striker IMO
-
Fonte is a decent enough player I suppose. Hoovield will always look ok if you dont look at the whole game as he is the bruiser of the partnership. At times when he makes positional errors etc it will be his partner who picks up the pieces. He wont play this year, it wouldnt surprise me if he ended up at Reading etc
-
I must admit, I am not a massive expert on the french league, I thought he had a reasonable name for himself in previous years, there are definately a few younger players Id have a look at but as you say considering that Monaco or PSG hoover up or generally turn the heads of most of them its probably better looking elsewhere As per WHU, I thought they were racked with debt ? Plus S&G are hardly swimming in cash.
-
He isnt a footballer but unfortunately football in this country can accomodate a player such as him, he is big, strong, has a decent shot on him, isnt slow and is an absolute handful. I hate watching him play but by christ Id hate to play against him. Pretty much the reason that England played Heskey for so long is because of what he does, cause havoc. He is a better all round player than Emile, but no, he probably isnt worth 100k a week or the 30 and then 20 million fees paid for him
-
Thats what I mean, I actually think he is a decent player if used correctly, which WHU do But 100k a week is farking redicous
-
I cant see him going to WHU either tbh, the little money they do have is tied up in overpaying Carroll (who at 15m and 40k a week I would say is a decent signing) They seem to say they are in for everyo e in order to appease the fans
-
This cant be right, Saints only ever look at one transfer at a time ?! How can we persue Lovren AND Astori ?
-
This, as I said before though I reckon he has the ability to surprise and be a v good player in the prem. It all depends who has been lined up and whether it is a better option than a Hooper risk. FWIW with a TR in and his contract up next year he is probably available for between 5-7 mil. I see him going to someone like Hull, Stoke or even WHU and being v good.

So you comment on how I am up my own arse and then you agree with the comment that I made ? What I am saying BTW isnt rocket science, it isnt exactly opinion either but it is a process that I expect every International manager and their selecting committee makes based roughly on form but also system and getting the players to play together. Of course I would expect one or two players, in form, that shoukd make it in, but not many, and if you do so then IMO you will need to see longevity in an England call up. Cork in this respect would be perfect. The Lambert arguement is nonsensical to me, he had a decent season but certainly wasnt in form at the end of it, is possibly in the getting on a bit category, may not even be first choice for Saints next year and plays in an entirely different way to how Woy would want him to perform.
