Yeah ok, we are only really slightly short on the wings though and if we are honest only really want a new winger and striker as we are all a bit greedy and want things to be garaunteed under every circumstance. We have a quality back line and back ups, and a quality midfield and back ups, and TBH up front is nothing to be sneered at at the level we are at.

I have said it for a while, and said at the start of the HCDAJFU thread that i reckon we would see a new goalkeeper in the near future.

If we both keep playing the way we have been, (our 11 goals in 3 games and your 5-0 win and grinding out at exeter) then it should be an interesting run in, and we should both go up automatically at a canter. TBH, i would be happy with automatic promotion, winning the league would be good.

If everyone stays fit then yes i don't see why not, look at the strength on the bench today. Perhaps a winger, but i would say thats all we need really, as long as the front men keep scoring.

The other thing is the fact that i bet Punch hates playing on the right, he is left footed and makes life hard, in a Millwall shirt he plays on the left and beats players, shoots at goal etc, he can keep up momentum that way. On the right however he needs to check and come back which will allways cause a stutter in play.

Exactly this, Plus we have a good team for the league i suppose and it must be very hard to get players to drop down, but then i think it may be easier in january than in august. For instance i think it was easier for us to grab Fonte when Palarse looked like dropping down and we were on the up than at the start of the season. I would love to see new players, every fan does, but we don't really NEED many more players, unless exceptional players come up that would improve us. Lets not sign players for the sake of it.

You can't ban images because one or two people may or may not have enough bandwith, thats rediculous. I know you probably don't really know the issues, but my point is i really don't know of any other forums especially football ones you have to pay for, we do, and more often then not it fails. FootballForums.net rarely goes down and they often have many many many people online. It may help if Baj and Granty actually bothered to check in from time to time but it feels a little bit like, especially from Steve, TSW has been dropped.

I agree with this Its a shame he was chasticised and pretty much forced out of the club, he really wasn't as bad as some fans thought if you actually watched the game properly. But he won't come back now, he has made his mind up and wants out.

Worried about today even though we had 60% of possession and had 8 shots on target and 5 corners ? to their 1 and 0 ?? The server needs looking at definately, it is pretty terrible, especially for the ones that have stumped up the £5'r. Unfortunately the league isn't in our hands yet, we could win every game and still come second, but we are looking strong and Brighton must be getting a bit worried.

Fair enough. Its just hard sometimes wading through the intense negativity we get on this forum, and i don't know why really. Like today for instance, football is not won consitancy by 3-4 goals (although 11 goals in 3 games has been nice) but by dominating opposition and getting decent shots on goal. We did that today, on a tough pitch against opposition that sounded as if they just sat back and tried to suck it up. Of course that makes things hard but we battled through and did a great job.

Pity that Brighton pulled it back but good solid win today. Good performance and good win WDYS Adkins has done a brilliant job since arriving, i don't think i have said it yet but league results since he arrived would put us top of the league.
