I have always liked 4-5-1 and 5-3-2/3-5-2 however you want to employ it. I thought we looked more dangerous last season playing 4-5-1 and definately have the players to suit it.

Probably because of his age i guess, or because perhaps of other players and finding the best team ?? You don't really get to piece a team together in youth football, it is much more restricted to working with what you have. Personally i see him as a wide player, and an effective one, perhaps end up as a striker as he has an eye for goal. For me though no, i can't see him as a player to play in the hole as they don't really take people on, they find space and play pass and move. Lallana is more of a player to play in the hole, if we were to play 4-5-1 i would like to see Punch and Ox on the wings (there PREFERED WINGS, as they are not bloody Robben) with Adam behind Barnard or Rickie.

Started a new game on FM10 as i always got bored getting saints into Europe and beyond, it gets too easy in the PL. I started as Luton, got them promoted and got offered the job at Saints, which i took lol. So same old, playing in 2024 now and Saints are a European powerhouse. What i would like is if there was random events as there are in football, players getting in trouble, training ground bust ups. People being brought in as directors of football. That sort of thing. Perhaps even the option to tap up players (you may get caught may not) it will all take the game into real life.

Lucky its just a demo !! I got to xmas and got bored, lost 1 game, drew 1 and won the rest. Let 6 goals in. Far too easy but loads of my players want out and managers seem to be in the firing line twice a week at least, let alone injuries.

His pace, crossing, his direct ambition and his dribbling ability, for me speaks for itself and IMO is pretty much the attributes needed for an effective winger. Having not seen him do too much actually battling, plus the fact he is not very tall, i don't think he is made for a central midfielder role. For me anyways.
