Well, new billionaire owner, premiership ground and training facilities, good youth academy, great pedigree of manager, future is safe, massive fan base, 22k turned up for a friendly and no fat drug addicks looking to take more money out of an already financially f*cked club. Tis true you can make a pre-transfer contract and obviously it comes into force when the transfer window opens (so his contract does not start until that point) But not sure about those in the UK market, think you have to wait a little longer

he is just saying the fact that there are some very good players out there available on a free ATM, if you don't concentrate on them they will be snapped up. Simples. If you don't have to spend big money then don't. Once he has assessed the freebies i believe he will then look elsewhere, and TBF those that we will be paying for aren't as likely to be snapped up as quickly as free transfers.

Yeah agree, i don't tend to stop at a roundabout if i don't need to but you can't have a go at people that do as long as it is not rediculous. The post office is pretty good IMO, where as the Royal Mail is farking sh!te. The amount of times i have ordered gig tickets and they have given it to a neighbour (not even next door who i didn't actually know) and left no explanation to their whereabouts in my house. Or the old, leave the parcel on the doorstep trick !! In broad daylight ! What makes me laugh is when you are expecting a signed delivery do they ask who you are ?? No, they would take any signature from anyone to get it off their hands, but when you go and pick it up (if it goes back to depot) you have to bring umpteen bits of bloody ID to prove it's you.

Completely agree here mate, probably the best reply on this thread. We are a league 1 team guys and Baird excelled at CB in a CCC team, i understand the need for big brutes at the back although the championship is also very much reliant of a cavalier approach involving big lumps up front. He performed very admirambly at the back. IMO i would have him back in an instant if i had to, and those spouting about players leaving saints for the prem ?? Honestly ask yourself, as much as you love the club if you got an offer from a premiership club whilst saints languish in the 2nd tier would you honestly turn it down ??

Now this i do agree, if you do something serious enough (like be a f'n yob) then you face the consequences. This goes back to the police thread a little while back in which i know of people getting their heads kicked in and the offenders getting nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

If people are really that dependent that they can't go to the pub cos they can't be bothered to walk outside then they should really have a word with themselves
