  1. Should be, disapointed that SOCOM got a bad write up was looking forward to that. Also they are releasing a new battlefield for the PS3 'download' only but i expect has potential. Dust if off pal !!! If i see you online though i won't hold back !!!
  2. I am posting believing that whomever takes over is prepared to transfer all debts etc.
  3. Surely though, it's going to be about damage limitation. At the moment the rules state it is the football club that has to enter admin, ours has not, and nor did derby when they were let off. The clubs that have had deductions were not in the same situation and also had other misdemeanors. (not going into it we all know the relevant stories) So.. the way i see it is, they are going to get it in the neck either way, however if they give us the points deduction and take them to court we obviously have a strong case that we could concievably win, and so the FL would have to act on a ruling against them, probably largly compensate. But, if they let us off, due to the rules in place currently, and then shut the loophole then the other clubs are less likely to win a case against us and FL as the rules were there to be exploited and situations are different. This is why i believe we may get away with it, although everyone will then hate us.
  4. Chocolate and alcohol, maybe a bit of poker, definately football. Go with the flow. All beginning with the enemy tonight
  5. yeah, tons, always get onto a whichever game i want to go on, never have to wait long and are fully populated so their must be. I am constantly online on it. From what i have read people aren't enjoying World at War that much, something about the multiplayer being crap ?? They are made by two seperate companies aparantly ? Modern Warfare 2 out around august !
  6. i read in the manual you get about 60k for second and an 100k for first (overall) i think
  7. Looks amazing, waiting to see if i can pick up a demo
  8. hmm. Has to be FM/CM series just because i play them so much and i agree they ruin my life. But other than them.. 1. Half life 2 (gutted when i completed them and eps 1/2) 2. COD 4 (still amazing, still playing online, can't wait til modern warfare 2) 3. Perfect Dark (n64) 4. Goldeneye (brings back good memories) 5. Probably the PES series as it too has drained my spare time.
  9. Can't afford one anyways. Is it worth getting a load of cheap 18 yr olds that are better then my originals and just replace the whole team ?? Whats the best amount of players ?? i have 26
  10. Like two zepelins in a pair of pants
  11. Not sure it's been mentioned yet but at least he has the right colour tie on !! ..... oh.... bugger
  12. Yup, a billionaire would be quite nice Had enough of not going anywhere now, if we have to go down this route i would rather come out of it in the best possible position ! As long as he does not just turn up, spend loads and leave us in debt. Also, who is this LLS ?? Forgive me for being ignorant.
  13. I dunno, i think he could have if he didn't have such an ego, i do believe that his return (although undoubtedly was to also save him money) was as he realised how in the sh!t the club was. We don't know just how desperate it was when he first came back or also if he devastated it more ?? He made some bad decisions as far as the football was concerned but believe he has probably got decent business acumen and obviously knows his way around the law. Unfortunately a football club can't be run like a business.
  14. I agree, completely, i would not say that essien has the most flair or technical ability but his pure athleticism is world class. To use a footie manager qoute .... bet gerrard was still checking over his shoulder for him when he got home! lol Xavi is quality but for different reasons, on the ball he is unbelievable, passing and technical ability. You only have to look at spain to realise how technically inadequate our english midfielders are, the way they pass the ball is majestic.
  15. Completely agree with this, good post. Don't understand why we don't keep things simple, and so play BWP on the right and Smith on the left ?? Personally from what i have seen i don't rate him but i agree he has pace and his delivery isn't too bad, Wotte is just making him look bad by playing him out of position (bit like poor JT at charlton)
  16. Paul allen was completely material, from what i was led to believe at the time. Just hope this is the same and there is nobody to get in the way. Would he really want to buy saints ?? Would have understood before the IPL took KP from hampshire.
  17. Funny, i heard that story.
  18. Probably something to do with the non-disclosures i expect they all have to write, plus you don't particularly want to give away info to a prospective party that you are up against in bidding ?? And i believe there is something to do with the stock market legalities or something Apart from that... very quiet
  19. Dunno, must be high, but worth an outside bet surely
  20. What i would give for a player even as half as good as him for saints. Great energy, great engine, great comitment. Marked gerrard out the game tonight (not easy) and my personal MOTM (chelsea v liverpool). IMO the reason that chelsea have turned the corner in this late stage of the season and why you can't write them off.
  21. I hardly believe that if it goes past the deadline with the only reason being that there are too MANY enquiries they will turn around and say, oh well, sorry, there were too many of you and not enough time so i'm calling it a day.
  22. Said for a little while i thought midfield was his best position, was not at watford but glad to hear he took the enthusiasm he showed from saturday into last night. For me there are two types of player, those that take criticism and go down hill and those that take it and act upon it. Fair play for DMG being the latter, FWIW though i feel Lallana may be the first of the two.
  23. In my opinion Lowe is to blame for getting us relagated and also for the sheer amount of very bad decisions the man made (a ludicrous amount considering he is supposed to be a sucessful business man) He attempted to limit expense in the years coming to our end by gambling on cheap, inexperienced managers who after all the sackings and relegation cost us more than if he had appointed an experienced manager and stuck with him. He failed to show some ambition after the cup final (not saying we should have broke the bank but you need to speculate...etc etc) I agree i believe that legally he is very astute (as we have seen by his countless non-disclosures and sueing journalists) and yes if he manages to pull off the points avoidal then i for one will be pleased, but thats it, IMO getting rid of the PLC and avoiding a points deduction will be the least he could do for what he has put us all through in the last 10 years.
  24. I was under the understanding although yes he is looking to get the maximum amount for the assets of club however i thought he also needs to ensure whomever takes over will not put the club back into this position a week after taking over ??
  25. Or Just like watching the titanic, you know that it'll hit the iceberg in the end but you sit and hope anyways and through the whole film is some stupid bloke that pretends he has money when clearly he has not
