Pretty much i think but the admin guy was not too specific. He just said that the debt was over 30 mil, now it could just be a tad over or a lot over. Depends on how he equates things in his own head i guess.

Perhaps the decision was that with the relevant parties in charge (we all know who) investment would not be forthcoming. So maybe they made the decision to get rid and carry on knowing they could afford to stay affloat until the end of the season. Or... Perhaps the plug was pulled and then barclays have given extra funds (or perhaps the admin team) to ensure they can get investment. If the club went now, nobody would be interested.

Oh yeah, that was the bit i missed sorry guys. The club is also in OVER 30 million pounds worth of debt. So more than we all thought.

It was pretty terrible, but then what can you expect from a radio station akin to alan partridge ?? Lol To some it up the woman afterwards was saying, oh my god, i thought we were in 100's of thousands of debt not over 30 mil. !! Lol

I think the point he was making was not that it was any of our fault but alot of the posters thought admin was the holy grail. In reality, it really is not. Perhaps it has removed the cancer but we may still be too weak to survive. Problem is the financial climate, those that were once affluent, unfortunately now are not

To sum up the press conference guys. There is interest in the club they are hopeful of making a sale but not confident (he said this alot and he really di not sound confident) due to financial climate. Club will be run till the end of the season. Fans need to help by turning up, helping to sell the club. SLH and SFC are in law different and they are working with the FL to avoid penalty. SLH has big(ish) assets i.e jacksons farm and training ground. The delay this morning was due to interest that appeared yesturday but the party could not prove a sound financial package (the deadline was originally 5pm yest, but was extended till 11) Then we were able to listen to Moving on up by M people. If i have missed anything i apologize.

I assume that the conference will be streamed in full at some point, i will be on the look out today and if i find it will let you know, if anyone else does will they kindly let me know ???!!

The delay this morning was due to interests expressed yesterday. They were given a deadline but did not meet this. Even after extension. No proof of funding.

PLC probably won't be liquidated until club sold, SLH and SFC are interlinked (debts) but they feel that they can get away with penalty

They say they have serious doubts about selling due to financial climate, say RL could buy the club but has said he has not expressed interest. Not said about concluding deal, keep playing down whether they can sell the club. Keep saying that they can't be confident.

I could never see this happening. It would be a f***ing joke. Surely it would not be allowed on safety and policing reasons.

Think if somebody buys the club and inherits most of the debt then we may get away with it but you never know. The other clubs hanging just above us will have a field day and i expect that there would be uproar and court cases etc etc. And of course simon jordan and warnock will have to get involved simply because they are a pair of t**ts, but there we go. Come on saints, i really am hoping everything will work out well.
