FWIW I actually think Roberts fits us better tactically then Tella, Tella was of course a fantastic player for Burnley last year but effectively they played him through the middle when they attacked and used his pace to break the lines We tend to have a slower build up, and so thats not an option so we need better technical players, and Roberts is fantastic technically Overall I think Id rather have kept Tella but I think people being underwhelmed by Roberts is short sighted

I think the biggest spend ever was about 45m too, with no fee ever being above 17m The ‘why aren’t we spending’ crew are either lazy, thick or both
