No not with Bree 😂
-
I genuinely think losing KWP isn’t a huge deal, RBs are replaceable especially at this level and I don’t actually think he’s been great yet Che is the one that’s concerning, strikers in the current market are a premium.. and I doubt even if we tried we’d be able to replace him effectively
-
For about the 9000th time… its not breathtaking, its a usual occurrence to relegated sides And we’re in exactly the same position as Leicester and Leeds and previously Burnley etc
-
Be interesting to see if Arsenal fancy him Im a little more optimistic we’ll keep Che and KWP, I sort of think if we get through the next 24 hrs we should be ok
-
exactly, so back to the original post, I look forward to this balance when we lose Sully or ABK 🤙
-
No… because he downed tools….
-
He was their first choice RB, he downed tools
-
Yeah but Im just pointing out that its not particularly different to Castagne.. which is clearly fine because it doesn’t support the argument that we’re approaching the window completely differently than Leeds and Leicester…
-
Justin’s played 2 mins, had significant injuries and nobody is touching Pereira.. high wages and 2 ACLs in recent history
-
Sound, so Ill await that balanced response when we lose ABK or Sully… neither of which have played any games for us
-
Something something Leicester keeping their squad together something https://x.com/skysportspl/status/1696452528483815706?s=46&t=MqpubAzkQD51r3m_v775zw

Holgate was POTS under Ancelotti at CB wasn’t he ?
-
We’ll bring in atleast 2

I think it looks like the offer is loan with an obligation anyway, so effectively its just a transfer with an FFP dodge
-
If teams in the prem can’t put their foot down and keep hold of their talent what hope do we have as a Championship team The only hope we had was putting reasonable valuations on our players that needed to be met and generally, right now its seemed like its worked There’s no point carrying players that don’t want to be here, its going to be a big push getting out the Championship and so you want players pulling together This isnt football manager, you cant just say no really, as like Pilchards and Coalman has said, it undermines morale of the players still here and makes the youngsters we want to sign think twice The best way you can play it is to say.. ‘You won’t go anywhere unless we get X for you’… Im also hopeful, despite the pressure, that we say if they’ve not left by midweek then thats that
-
Im just sharing what I heard at the end of the season and its pretty reliable
-
As I said early doors in the transfer thread, Perraud was one of the more vocal if the French lads that wanted out af the end of last season (and Diallo) I have also expected Mara and Sully to go too but so far they’re here We signed Manning as a direct replacement, Im assuming the loan signifies the fact we couldn’t offload Perraud effectively I was never anticipating him to play any part this year, hopefully he plays well and Nice buy him
-
There will be a fee to it, they’re subsidising wages and as already stated we’ve already signed Manning as his replacement Genuinely not sure how some of you survive day to day life if you flap this much about our football team, and in this case one of our 4 LBs (5 if you include KWP)
-
Its not my explanation, you clearly stated that the Mane/VVD buys were defined and monitored for a while but any other signings probably were not The only real panic buys are probably Onuachu and Carillo, which funilly enough were both bought in to try to prop up a failing manager.. I just cant see that being the case this time
-
We won’t sign Spence unless we sell KWP, and he won’t come here if KWP is here.. so it is what it is Edit - Id also be stunned if they get him for any sort of respectable fee, Id imagine it’ll be a loan and in Sours case Levy would rather die then sanction a deal that isn’t 99% in Spurs favour
-
Ahh ok, but obviously that doesn’t apply to this window if we buy late because clearly Koeman was all knowing and these lot are chancers
-
Its the league not clubs, basically the prem seems to just pay lip service to it
-
Ahh yes it does in the Champ, because they take it seriously, look at QPR and Blackburn, they spent splenty trying and failing to escape the Champ and now they’re knackered
-
We can spend money if we want to, but the reality is from one reason or another we probably don’t want to, and its about flexibility around the FFP regs Im sure, if there was a target that suited us we’d go for it, but you need to be a bit careful as we’ve seen from Armstrong and Che (and probably Piroe) that the step up is big.. we need to sign a striker that can fire us into the Prem.. but when we get there we’ll likely need to replace them
-
I would imagine, as a couple on here have said time and time again.. it becomes more of an issue at the end of the season IF we don’t get promoted but our prudence will mean we won’t be as desperate
