  1. If our kick off time is 12.00 or 12.30 there should be a big enough gap in start / finish times to avoid much mixing of our travelling fans, as Oldham v Portsmouth isn't until 15.00.
  2. I also fear this might be the case, they haven't won since Woods went out injured around christmas time.
  3. Looks like Burnley have some players coming back from injury, whether them getting through the training ground match against Blackpool makes them ready for Saturday is another matter. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43132870
  4. This was the schedule last year, I guess that this year will follow a similar schedule but if a match can't take place on the Monday (as it's International week) then I presume will be on the Friday instead. With the Wigan Run on the Sunday hopefully our match will be one of the Saturday matches not Friday evening. Saturday 11 March Middlesbrough v Huddersfield Town or Manchester City (12.15pm) – BT Sport 2 Arsenal v Lincoln City (5.30pm) – BT Sport 2 Sunday 12 March Tottenham Hotspur v Millwall (2pm) – BBC One Monday 13 March Chelsea v Manchester United (7.45pm) – BBC One
  5. The directions to get to Devereux Road are coming from the South.
  6. Last season we parked on Devereux Road which has no restrictions. Directions are off the M5 at Junc 1, 1st left into Roebuck Street, left at The Vine pub into Roebuck Lane then right into Devereux Road. The Vine pub was very busy. To get to the ground walk to the dead end of Roebuck Lane into the subway under the M5 and then walk along the path by the side of the train track until it meets Halfords Lane then up to the ground, quite an easy walk taking 15 to 20 mins. Getting away afterwards was fairly easy taking Salisbury Road to the High Street and along to Junc 1 but you can also take Roebuck Lane depending which end of Devereux Road you are parked. It is busy but did'nt take long to get onto the motorway.
  7. 3 - 0. WBA have similar next 5 matches to us, will they still be 6 points behind us after them? Their performance tonight has been good for the most part but like us if you don't take your chances the best sides will punish you in the blink of an eye.
  8. Sturridge injured after 2 mins!! Did we dodge a bullet! Hamstring.
  9. Come on Chelsea don't do a Man U on us. We need to get a least one club cut adrift from the pack.
  10. Chelsea down to 10 men after 30 mins. 0 - 0 current score.
  11. Been announced http://www.live-footballontv.com/live-fa-cup-football-on-tv.html
  12. This. We can moan and groan all that we want but we have to support the side as much as we can that is what our job is, do people really think that protests / booing etc will inspire the TEAM to better performances and results. If we are statistically relegated the time for protests may be appropriate then.
  13. I agree with others that the performances in December against the top six sides, apart from the Tottenham calamity, has bought him more time. I was prepared to give him more time than some even after the poor start of the season against lesser opposition and the Leicester shambles, but after the Palace capitulation and certainly the similar performance against Watford away I believed that he should have gone then. If we do not get at least 3 points in the next 2 matches and certainly if we loss both and he doesn't get sacked then we will probably have him to the end of the season.
  14. Would be better if the ref had showed some urgency and jogged across to the review screen rather than slowly stroll to it.
  15. Hal Robson-Kanu and Keiran Gibbs both going off with injuries for WBA, hopefully could be out for next weeks match!?
  16. Good result. The six yard box chances that were not coverted looked like the type of chances which hopefully Carrillo can make count, looked like typical goals which he takes (well according to the 15 minute You Tube video anyway, that doesn't show the ones he missed though!) Next 2 matches are massive, wonder what this forum will be like in 7 days time? Depends if we have accumulated 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0 points!

    Quincy Promes

K,Billys supersound posted this on page 57 of the January 18 transfer window thread. I think he has posted 3 times today so cannot respond anymore today. 'From a purely personal point of view im not sure Promes is that good anyway, certainly not worth 30mill. I can't see us paying anywhere near that.'
  18. Come on City, don't let us down
  19. And would be only 2 points off 10th and top half. Can't see a win tomorrow unfortunately, but it's a 'funny old game'. Those 5 points dropped from winning positions against Palace and Watford bitting us big time, putting even more pressure on games like tomorrow.
  20. Hope they've sorted out the pitch since the Crystal Palace match. Drainage problems aside (apparently) I don't understand how the pitch has got into such a state, have the team been training on it a lot to try and improve preformances?
  21. He's going for the win but will likely result in the opposite.
  22. As it stands have dropped 7 points from leading / promising positions in the last 5 weeks, Man City, Huddersfield, Arsenal and so far with CP. Vital points dropped.
  23. I know the feeling, I'm just waiting for the Palace goal from an unmarked header or shot from outside the box! Huge next 35 mins for Saints must hold on.

    Wesley Hoedt

From today's Daily Echo article / interview with Hoedt "......I think that Southampton is the best club to start at in the Premier League.” Um.....
  25. The player doing the best shooting practice was Hoedt.....
