  1. Genuine ITK please keep posting what you are allowed to tell, I'm sure it is much appreciated by the majority on here.
  2. Not ITK but I think that this is it: https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/bra-and-panties-t-shirts-A25656643
  3. We had a 'bra' look in the 2009 -10 blue and yellow away kit, I didn't like it then either. http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/s/southampton/old-southampton-football-shirt-s20627.html
  4. Sorry if already posted but I haven't seen this article so far. Maybe the Unai Emery move to PSG is not a done deal yet! Google translation from sport.fr article from yesterday below (see web link below), if anyone can translate better please do!! http://www.sport.fr/football/ligue-1-psg-emery-est-dej-agace-397508.shtm So Unai Emery is close to joining PSG, where Laurent Blanc has still not been settled. One detail that would interfere with the Spanish technician. According to information from the Cadena Ser, the former coach of Sevilla would be ready to return to Andalusia, where the dismissal of French would be quickly resolved. He would have including another proposal from an English club. Nevertheless imagine that the Qatari owners will soon formalize their change of coach.
  5. I presume what he meant was that we wanted to have a new (altered) contract for the 3rd year of his contract but he would not agree to that. May be we offered him more money but with strings attached?
  6. ‘To be involved in this project for the next couple of years is a big feeling. I will keep it short on Southampton as it is important to look forward in life. I had a meeting with the board - the first option was to go into the third year of my contract, and I said that was not possible. There was no way I was signing a new contract and I did not agree. Through that whole story, Everton showed that kind of interest. Southampton gave me the permission to talk to Everton and I’m the new manager - and that’s all I would like to say. Thanks to them, we had two fantastic seasons - thanks to the players, staff and fans, but I’m in Everton now.‘
  7. Koeman does first Everton press briefing today at 13.30.
  8. What odds is someone called Mystery Man? Sounds like he should be evens!
  9. If any Euros team managers are top of our list it could be a long wait, unless it's Roy of course! (joking) Are there any Euro managers which would suit 'the Southampton way'? Is Joachim Loew ready for a change?
  10. Would look good on Rank Xerox / Air Florida style from the early 1980s, with the broad white centre panel. Although the news release shows white logo on red background which would suit an Ajax style shirt, and make our new manager feel at home!!
  11. I can't remember what style of play Moyes tends to use mostly. Attacking, pressing, defensive by nature. Exciting or boring.
  12. What's that based on? Newspaper and agent talk. We don't know the truth of the situation or circumstances. He may have wished to honour his last year of his contract but Saints didn't want that as they may have wanted a longer committment.
  13. Has the ex Watford manager Flores been mentioned as a Saints manager contender, thought he did a good job last season at Watford and I liked the way he went about things. Didn't deserve to get the push IMO.
  14. Deal was not done at the time but I was told over 2 months ago by my Everton FC mate of their interest in Koeman and he was their prefered choice. I laughed at him at the time saying there's no way Koeman would go to them, I'm sure he'll remind me of this when I next see him!! If Koeman does go of course.

The competition closed last week, anyone know who won?
  16. I would like to think that after the 'feel good' end to the season, now we are in the Group round of the Europa Cup and due to the new TV deal enabling the Club to offer higher wages, that some of those players who 'wanted away' earlier in the season may reconsider their positions.
  17. Which date does the current shirt sponsorship deal finish? Will the new sponsor be announced prior to the 2016/17 shirt unveiling?
  18. If the Saints management doesn't see potential in Gazza why did they extend his contract last September for another 4 years?
  19. I'm still left mentally scared from the 8 - 0 to Everton in Nov 1971. That afternoon I was competing in the Southampton Cubs Totem Pole competition for 2nd Southampton at Shirley Warren School, we won but the first thing I asked my dad was how did Saints do, when he told me the result I remember feeling so deflated. A life sentence of being a Saints fan ................
  20. Premier League clubs might treat it with the respect which it deserves if they didn't have mid week league games before or after FA cup weekends meaning squad rotation often kicks in. Seems redicolous to me that in the dark dank winter months with Cup matches as well there are several mid week league matches. however come the spring when most clubs are out of the cups there is only one match a week.
  21. Slight knock apparently hopefully not Sturridgeillitis!
  22. Also goals on BBC red button, Final Score with 5 Live commentary.
  23. Match is following a familiar script, just waiting for the opposition one chance one goal act.
  24. I used to look forward to our match days now I just have a feeling of impending doom just waiting for our missed chances and the defensive mistake(s) which loses us the match! Come on Saints break me out of this melancholy.
  25. These next 2 home matches IMO will set the tone for the rest of the season. Get 6 points and the world will seem a much better place and spirits will be lifted, as of today we probably need 15 points to secure another year in the PL (sorry going a bit Dalek like there!) so to be on 30 points in a week's time would all but alleviate the threat of relegation. 3 or 4 points would probably keep us in about our current league position and hopefully maintain the 7 point gap to the relegation zone. 0 or 1 would probably drag us further down the table and towards the drop zone and with Man U and Arsenal away to follow we could be deep in trouble after then. I won't use the word luck but surely some match circumstances have to change at some point, such as our chances on goal go in and what seems like every mistake which we make is punished with a goal against as has been the case in the last 3 matches.
