  1. this would be more appropriate ? http://www.brewdog.com/5am_saint
  2. i turned over to bbc3 and watched Chemical Brothers half way through, as i found it a bit dull. could hardly hear Chris Martin most of the time
  3. wrong i am not a violent person, far from it but when i was a victim of a burglary i reacted to the situation as i saw fit at the time. i'm glad i picked up my baseball bat as the two intruders had metal bars with which they forced the back door. luckily they ran when confronted but who knows what would of happened if i had just stayed in my bed & they had walked upstairs ?
  4. when i was still at home, we were burgled twice within a year & it really affected my mum.i still don't think she has got over it,especially the 2nd time as they harmed her dog. when i moved in to my gf's mums house she had been burgled twice & had her moped stolen 3 times before i moved in. i was in the house when they tried again & chased after them but lost them jumping through neighbours gardens. in the last 10 years we have had no further trouble. maybe they realised it wasn't worth the hassle ?
  5. its not just about the items they are taking from your house, its the loss of feeling safe & secure in you own home. letting the burglar just get on with it would mark you as an easy target & you would soon find yourself burgled again & again.
  6. my mates older brother went to that as he was friendly with a load of crusties/travellers. wouldn't say it was the last anarchic festival. ever hear of Castle Morton in 92 ? 40,000 people there for 7 days, all over the news, police totally powerless to stop it, great fun. i got there on the 2nd day & had a great time.
  7. was talking to a mate about this a work today.he reckons its because its all gone main-stream & middle class. i went a few times in the early 90's and there were kids in attendance then.most of them were with the crustys/hippy travellers though rather then in the main arena's. god knows what seeing your parents & their friends all monged out on acid & mushrooms did to them though. ( i also think Jo Wiley is sexy but can't work out why ?)
  8. Nice one. just had a quick look for now. may take a "wander" round later & show my son some of it.
  9. think i will watch that tonight, after your ringing endorsement i watched Rango with my son yesterday. thought it would be boring but i rather liked it. the animation was very good & the story worked on a child & adult level. 8/10
  10. they always have deals for alcohol in Tesco. anyone get the beers on offer the other day ? 2 cases for £4 ! anyway i saw him in Tesco with a load of wine in his trolley as well. hopefully it was on the same day as Instant Classic or the jocks are gonna have a bad case of deja-vu !

  12. Caribou - Bijoux
  13. did irate locals get hold of a Binman ?
  14. and you moan about MLG going on & on & on
  15. we have been broken into twice, the 2nd time we were in the house as they kicked the back door in. i ran down stairs with a baseball bat & chased them but lost them in a neighbours garden. i got a lecture from the police because i had picked up the baseball bat even though the burglar's were tooled up with metal bars ! this was before my son was born. god help anyone who tried it again
  16. would they stay in though ?
  17. Sinclair c5
  18. taped tonights (no spoilers please!) enjoyed yesterdays episode. the gf said about watching it as her uncle is in the service.
  19. wot else would he do though ?
  20. you are correct to a degree. Magners is sold as Bulmers in Ireland & Magners elsewhere, due to a link between the firms going back to the 30's. the Bulmers we buy here is from the Hereford, where it has always been produced.
