I know that you put a smiley in after mentioning the Chapel but, for clarity, I'll happily inform you that many of us in there have 'served our time' during the late 60s/early to mid 70s. Yes we're the 'old boys' now and we are obviously sensible (yes we were out of order many times as callow youths) as we have kids to mentor but we still 'hate the skates' with a passion. All Premier league games this weekend are going to have a minute's laughter just before kick off in honour of our dearly departed Mancs.

Being cursed with the legacy of following Saints for all these years, cynical pessimism (although slowly wearing off), I get the same feeling before every home game. I think though that we will get undone at home by a, respectfully, 'smaller' club than Blackpool.
