  1. True and, if close to the 30 minutes, queueing at the machine might well cost you!
  2. Why should they pick on BHA when they can't deal with Dune/Stanley or whatever his latest name is!
  3. June has neither the depth or sensitivity to be called a ****. Unless you intended to use troll?
  4. At last! Something holey connected to Saints (and it's not our defence!).
  5. Spyinthesky, I have e-mailed you as I have now found which account I used for contact.
  6. Would one of the Mods/Admin/Baj/Steve please pass my e-mail on as I cannot PM Spy?
  7. From that article: That's got me wondering, not Saints, surely?
  8. Saint In Paradise is ok.
  9. http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/blog/2011/feb/22/newzealand-natural-disasters?CMP=twt_gu Let's hope all our N.Z. Members and families are safe and well.
  10. I think the thread is about Top Derby Games? Where did I mention sectarianism? Try to stay on topic.
  11. Did Manyoo V Citeh in about '77, nothing like us V the skates. Also did Rangers v the others in about 78. Very tasty, not for the faint hearted.
  12. I'm having problems with the W7 PCS because I use Webroot security (recommended by PC World as they bought out AVG). Anyway, the user interface doesn't let me get deep enough into the firewall controls to configure the Ports to allow Media Centre on, Xbox, to see the PC. If I disable the firewall it can see it so I assume that the control of the ports is my problem. Will make the call tomorrow for assistance.
  13. If there's oil there then the Yanks may be interested.
  14. Spot on! In industry, OK mainly unionised, you were not allowed to work overtime on the weekend if you were absent (sick) on the Friday. This rule even went further, that you could not work a weekend prior to your week of holiday (week ran Mon to Sun). Are the school aware that this member of staff is in?
  15. A good point which prompts the question What did we do in the old days, pre interweb? You only knew what was happening when the local rag (it was a newspaper in them there days!) printed it or, rarely, a whisper in the pub on an evening. So we didn't worry, at least not like we do now. Quite a few clubs then had chairmen/owners who were, allegedly, right villains. Ruling with a rod of iron, Doug Ellis at Villa springs to mind, but nobody knew whether he had cornflakes for breakfast or if he'd farted in the bath that morning. Oh to be back in that era?
  16. For streaming video I have connected the newer machine wirelessly and it works from my Desktop (XP). I'll be sorting it with my Mrs PC (W7) as she will he main user. As to the older, daughter's, machine? I attempted entry to the bedroom but, after a risk assesment*, I declined to venture further until I have rescue services on hand to pull me out. I have checked on google and it would seem she does have an ethernet connection. If so then I will progrees the project when HASAW from Basingstoke have given the room a clean bill of health. *Bless her, it's not that bad, just don't want to move (and break) anything of hers. You know what teenagers rooms are like.
  17. Two questions in one post. 1. Precis. I have recently bought a second machine and moved the original upstairs into my girl's room. It connects to my router wirelessly and, while downstairs in the same room as the router, worked without fault. Just lately it has randomly failed to connect and advises us to turn the router off, wait 30 seconds and power back up. This is fine but is a pain what with 5 PCs on the router and the other Xbox. So users have to stop or she has to wait for a download to complete. 1. Point. Can I connect this to my router via an ethernet cable (I have a wired network in the house). 2. Precis. The newer Xbox is the latest console with inbuilt wireless etc. 2. Point. Can I stream video/films to it via the router from a laptop on the network? Thanks in anticipation.
  18. They are so far under our radar that even that will not happen. Leave that to the Leeds boys for next season if Bompey get promoted.
  19. Some maybe? I cannot get my head around this train of thought that they have had 'their rights' taken away. What happened to the rights of all children to be free from rape, molestation and often murder when no longer of use etc? I actually feel that the sex offenders register was a sane piece of legislation.
  20. So you want to reclaim a piece of terrace from all these current day 'little bastards'? Knowing this, after you've tapped someone on the shoulder and 'had a word' you'd not be surprised that you might have to ask him for your teeth, which by then might be firmly implanted in his knuckles or forehead? Just a thought for your safety, but do go ahead if you think it will work.
  21. Why does people's wee smell of Puffed Wheat or Sugar Puffs if they have it for breakfast?
  22. One of the better ones, remember folks that electricity Hertz.
  23. I was hoping to play in goal, like my hero !
  24. Can I play please Mike? I know I'm just a babe at 55 and a half!
  25. A good point which I agree with. More than likely to occur because the game is so local, but not a local Derby. Just a thought, apart from extreme luck, how would such a disadvantaged fan actually discover that they have lost out in this manner?
