  1. Still need an extra CB in my opinion as if either of Perry or Thomas get injured (which is more likely now they are getting on a bit) we have very few replacements.
  2. ON todays performance Rasiak looks the better choice to keep over John. Of course this depends on Rasiaks commitement to playing at this level so if he wants out then we really cant afford to keep him which is a shame because i think he can get 20 goals easily this season if he stays.
  3. I agree was very good today. Kept their big winger under close watch all game and broke forward well providing 3 or 4 fantastic crosses from the byline. One of which led to Rasiaks second goal and another that should have been a goal only it spooned off of Mills shin and over the bar.
  4. We looked much more threatening when Rasiak and Paterson were running the line. If he is prepared to stay in league 1 then we should defiantely do all we can to keep him as he is a quality striker at this level. Also on another note, sign Murty up now he was great today. 3 or 4 fantastic byline crosses and dealt with their lanky Winger very well all game.
  5. The keepers seem to be alot worse in this division. Lots of long range shots seem to find the back of the net in this league due to keepers misreading the shots and poor positioning. Thats why im so happy we managed to keep Davis, he'll be worth plenty of points by the end of the season.
  6. Or he might have done more than one show of Jeremy Kye in his life time.
  7. Looks like he was texting on his phone when the photo was taken. Hopefully getting some players lined up for next week.
  8. I hear you. You could have been wearing that shirt in Siberia and still have sweaty pits!
  9. Technically its between Hedge End and West End, not Eastleigh though it is covered by Eastleigh Borough Council.
  10. Im sure with the right environment and man management, Bart can get his confidence back. A full season of first team football with a lower league club will do him the power of good IMO. He's still only 22/23 afterall so plenty of developement still to go before he reaches his potential. Remember his saves against Wolves in our 6-0 win? That talent cant have disapeared overnight.
  11. First thought is that it looks horrible but already after a few looks its starting to look okay. By the time season starts i'll have ended up buying it and really liking it
  12. I dont know mate. £1.1m for a player who still hasn't played for them yet. I think we were the ones who got the best deal out of this. Even if Pulis is gash i cant imagine hes costing anywhere near as much as Davies would have done sitting in our physio room.
  13. Maybe he'll be able to get Drogba and Rosicky this time then
  14. Keep all four but loan out Bart and Poke for the season to get experience and confidence leaving Davis and Forecast with Pernicky as back up for short term injury. If theres a long term injury to either Davis or Forecast then one of the other two can be recalled.
  15. Would be happy with Wise as manager. Whether he would though after being turned down for Burley last time he applied is a different matter.
  16. He'll be off if we recieve any sort of offer for him. He wont want to play in league 1 and Saints wont want to pay his wages.
  17. Even if the ground is half empty im sure alot of people would prefer to sit in these blocks as they have always been seen, along with the Northam end as the places with the best atmosphere. Even when we were only getting 17k through the gates in the season before last blocks 1,2 and 3 were nearly always 3/4 full which greatly improved the atmosphere. I remember reading somewhere when the decision to close off the corners was made that said that the amount of money saved by closing 3 of the corners was only around £200k. Surely then this isnt a huge amount of money to 'throw away' if in return the atmosphere is greatly improved which could help get more bums on seats and reduce the cost of keeping the blocks open even further.
  18. Cant understand why blocks 1-4 aren't open. Money problems were the reason they were closed in the first place but now that we dont really have any surely they can be let open again.
  19. Granted a club our size should be getting gates of 25k+ and we probably will if like you say we price well and have good results and performances on the pitch, but if we dont, even 15/16k would be a very good turnout in a league where the average is closer to 9k.
  20. He's always stated that given the option he would rather not uproot his family again. I know East London isnt too far a commute from Chandlers Ford but surely he would rather stay here as first choice if his wages are similar to what he has been on.
  21. We'll all stand on the pitch and the players will move the ball around the stands and try and score by knocking out the pundits in the commentary box.
  22. If we he wants out he wants out. NOt much you can do about that really. Try and change his mind or cash in if a £1m+ offer comes in for him.
  23. Most of those other keepers you have named i would genuinely consider to be worse than Davis. Even on crosses. The only one i think would be better than Davis is Maik Taylor but its unlikely that Birmingham will release him when he has valuable premiership experience which they will need to stay up this year.
  24. Definatley one of our better defenders last season but does seem to have a nasty habit of giving away penalties.
  25. Shouldnt have to spend too much if we get the right sort of bargain buys that a shrewd manager can get in this league to be honest. The basis of a good team is there if the manager can coax the best out of players like Rasiak and Bialkowski. All thats needed is a few defenders (particularly at fullback) and another striker IMO.
