I think we're more than capable of the playoffs. The team's aim is to win as many games as possible, and as long as the top six is mathematically in sight then it has to be an aim for us IMO. A League 1 dream team would feature at least 4 of our players on current form (Hammond, Jaidi, Lambo, Lallana) so we should be aiming to dominate the league now that the -10 is long gone

If we're talking about impressive signings then I'd have to go for Harding. He is easily CCC standard and the best defensive LB we've had since Doddy imo, and AP has picked him up on a free! For 1mil Lambo had to be impressive to live up to the price tag - and for me he has. However simply coz i think it was such a massive coup im going with Harding

This weekend I really can feel the pride coming back to the club. For the last few years when people have asked me who I support its with a sorta sheepish whimper that I say "erherm Southampton...". But today I'm proud again of our SAINTS. Our players are top quality for this league, they seem like they're battling and enjoy putting in 110% effort every week. Our manager says all the right things, he isnt afraid to say when players were poor, but he praises as well. Our chairman is ready to do the best for the team whilst not compromising the position of the club. Oh and our owner is MINTED. AND of course being part of the best fans in the league is amazing. Its bl**dy typical that when I head off to Uni we start playing brilliantly and still haven't even seen Hammond play, but I feel like ive been to every game because everyone is united for a change! May this feeling long continue and I now cant wait to get back to St. Mary's. COYR

played this game on fifa and it finished 1-2 with goals from lambert and hammond. seems likely to me im gonna shove a fiver on that!
