Beckford would obviously be quality but it is NEVER going to happen. Simeon Jackson or Lee Barnard for me, very good players who will compliment Lambo and are very realistic imo. Jackson in particular is very highly rated by the gillingham fans ive met up here, and they all agree that he would flourish in a better team. Look at his scoring record for Gillingham - and they are gash. In our team he would get bags imo

I am loving league 1 but that doesnt detract from the fact that i want us to get out of this league asap. If we get to the prem, who knows where we'll go from there? we are financially stable which is a lot more than many curent PL teams can claim

Ive got a fiver on us to win the JPT at 4/1. I know not a huge amount of money but im a student - i couldnt eat for a week after puting that bet on!

Im very optomistic about the game. Although i agree a draw would be an acceptable result, I would still be disappointed, we really should be going there looking to win. We are on a par with Leeds imo. Leeds are gonna lose at home at some point, and if any team is gonna get a result its us. Walsall had only lost once at home (to leeds) yet we ripped them apart. We've got a strong following and i would expect us to make it very difficult for them. i think we'll win 2-0 And what is all this about players being tired!? there was no extra time on tuesday, they still only played 90mins of football and will have had three full days recovery before sat. As ive said before - they are professionals and should be able to cope with two games in a week COYR! Oh and does anyone know if we will be the featured league 1 game on the FL show this week?

Professional footballers should be able to play two games in a week. Rest a couple of those in danger of suspension - jaidi mainly - but i wanna go all out for a wembley trip As Pards said we should go out to win every game

IMO we are better than all of those teams and should be looking to dominate whenever we play I love being a saint atm

Great story Your right, saints have always been good like that. a few years ago (possibly the promotion season but im not sure) my Mum wrote to both Pompey and Saints to ask for a prize for a charity raffle she was doing in aid of beast cancer research. Within a few days we recieved a signed home and away shirt with a note offering best wishes from saints, and yet to this day we have not heard a word from our fishy friends!
