Been to lots of away games this season and enjoy it immensely without feeling the need to sing and shout my head off. I did all that when I was younger - now it is not my bag. I enjoy listening and taking it all in (like I will at Wembley) but don't particularly enjoy participating - that is all ;-) I think the last time I sang and shouted through most of a game was at Goodison Park - we lost 7-1.
Why don't they discuss Southampton in the "after highlights" chat between Claridge and presenter? They haven't mentioned us once in the last two or three weeks (apart from fans emails). Maybe NC has ******ed them off :-)
I think something had ******ed him off big time before the interview, and since that was eating him he really didn't have the time or inclination to answer questions from Solent. Just poor timimg IMHO. As for what ******ed him off - who knows.
That aside, I couldn't go today (babysitting) so how was one of my least favourite players - Grant Holt? I hope Jaidi and Fonte made him look the donkey he really is.
If we repeat the performance at Wycombe and at home to Walsall you could be right. Looking at the current top 6 and their run of results, however, I fear the playoffs are not an achievable target even if we have gelled/jelled.
Spot on! Late goals are just not acceptable in modern football. We should probably stop the games at 60 minutes rather than 90 to avoid it....but then would goals conceded on 59 minutes qualify as "late" instead? What is the solution?.....maybe not play the game at all perhaps.
