Im sorry but I agree, I think this is the time for a fresh start, he does seem to suffer from delusions of grandeur and seems rather unintrested in saints. I would like to see a clear out of players in the Rasiak/Saga mould and get in some players who are hungry and want to play for the club

Booooooooooooo!!! No more negativity!!! I never mentioned winning the league or even promotion/playoffs. Just Generally excited for what looks like it could be a truely positive period of history for the club. Ofcourse there will be ups and downs, but in comparison to the last 5 years...things are certainly looking miles better!

Sorry If there are other threads similar, but is everyone else as excited as I am about this season as I am? I don't even care about the -10, or League 1. FINALLY, we have got what looks to be a top drawer management structure in place, and a manager that can genuinely take us back to the Premiership and potentially do a job for us there! The more I think about us getting Pardew, the more convinced I am that this is an inspired appointment!! There does generally seem to be a buzz on about the club, which Pardew is doing well to publicise, as that will surely pass on to the players...hopefully meaning we can take some momentum into the opening run of fixtures!! I cannot remember being soooo excited for the season to start in years, probably since the start of the 2003/04 season, let's just hope this season doesnt flop as much as that!!! COYR!!!

Should we not forget, the new owner (Mr. Liebherr Therefore, he is clearly no mug, and would not get there unless he was unable to make good decisions. He is clearly able to appoint the right people for the right jobs. As fans we need to support the man he chooses to appoint, or the man he chooses to appoint to appoint the manager!

To be fair i think it would be a good appointment, we should see if Joey Barton is available and make him captain...then in a few years Barton would be a perfect replacement ...I've made my point now where'd that dragon ive been chasing get to??
