Leeds got off to a flying start and maintained good form for large chunks of the season, looking like a team that would get out of the league from the off. Why exactly would he dop two leagues to be cover? I doubt either him or Davies would come back if we promosed a parade on their return

Who cares? Ultimately, they are not the reason we are in the position we are now, they were pretty much the last nail in the coffin. As said above, their hands were effectively tied, the club had less than no money, and whilst everyone can point to their lack of knowledge of the league, they werent helped by being forced to field players from a squad that had very little experience of competitive football, let alone the fizzy pop league! The appointment last summer (as up and away mentions) was frankly irrelevant, our fate at this point was pretty much sealed, we were already in deep trouble from decisions made going several years back. I am amazed at the lack of blame Burley takes, some of his signings were shocking, over-rated, over-paid, uninterested players, that never really looked like getting us out of the CCC and look where we are now. Poor decisions before this were also to blame, the failure to back WGS on the back of the cup final, which ultimately led to his departure, and then the ridiculous revolving door manager policy which followed... Really JP and MW had very little to do with it, if they want to ***** and moan to the media let them, that includes Lowe, they are gone, and we are moving on. We have a wealthy owner, who more importantly seems to actually have his head screwed on, a decent sound exec chairman and the best manager we have had in quite some time! To the future... COYS!!

It was my understanding he passed a medical and agreed personal terms, so would be surprised if this was the case

Hopefully he's got a bit of pace, if we are going to go for a Lambert/Rasiak pairing up top we will be desperately short of pace upfront!

Have also said before we should clearly sign David Beckham, he's unhappy at Galaxy and has said he's looking for a move back to Europe, if we can consider Poulsen and Campbell why shoul dwe not consider Becks? well we have lambert now, and apparently should be going after campbell and poulsen (according to some on here =D> ) so il play safe and go for a 360-5 to saints

I must admit I'm a big fan of Morgan, I feel he is the sort of player we have missed in the middle for quite some time, our midfield has been pretty shocking for quite some time, even going back to the Prem days. It was a shame Jamie Redknapp had to retire when we came down, but maybe Morgan can go on to take up a similar role, IMO we are desperate for some decent wingers! Looking at the line up for the Millwall game its hard to see who can regularly play down either flank with any impact.
