I think we can all recount many occasions in football where a contract hasn't amounted to much eg Poortvliet etc etc. DF has now well and truly proved himself and IMHO signed that deal in the euphoria of the moment. I can't see Peterborough ever achieving much more than they already have. However, with us he now would have a chance to take on a club at the level he knows ie League 1, but with the potential and resources to go all the way.

If, by any chance, Oldknow et al do actually look here to get an idea of which way the wind is blowing, then they will spot this thread straight away as it contains TA's name in the title. A quick look at the contents of this thread will tell them all they want to know. To be honest, I thought that was the idea behind this thread when I first saw it appear.
