  1. Why?
  2. That's what I never get. Grown adults cracking up like its a piece of properly original, laugh out loud comedy.
  3. A club's supporters represent a club, influence many people's opinions of that club.
  4. Great news. Very much deserved.
  5. Right back skills I would guess. But Yoshida is first choice for certain games at right back.

    Van Dijk

Thought VVD looked alright on Sunday myself. Showed plenty of spring as he drove forwards for our first goal.
  7. If Yoshida is considered a better right back for certain games, then Soares is currently limited.
  8. I thought JWP worked well on the right on Sunday. Look at his cross for our first goal. If he had a good, over-lappng right back with pace playing with him, I could see that working quite well.

    Van Dijk

Yoshida's mistake certainly contributed to us losing the game, doesn't make him a bad player. And the overall performance certainly wasn't "appalling".
  10. Reed won't be starting at MK then.
  11. Who was picked as our right back yesterday?
  12. I can see his potential and I can see him improving. But dropping Yoshida or whoever else into the right back slot is no long term solution, its not something we should be doing having just bought two new right backs.
  13. No one has said that fans aren't louder/quieter when winning/losing. Verbal Knit has been telling us that all fans are the same, and Man Utd are no better/worse than anyone else, when clearly they've had consistently louder/better support compared to comparable clubs.
  14. I assume you weren't at the Everton game a few weeks ago with half their away end sat down.
  15. No-one said its on every occasion. But its been more than once this season already.
  16. Yeah, I don't think Soares is too bad a player and I can definitely see potential there, but as a whole process, to bring in two right backs and for both of them to be behind Yoshida is a worry, I don't think its too much to expect our new right back to be picked ahead of him.
  17. It isn't "speculation", its what actually happened. Koeman would rather play a 2nd choice centre back out of position, than our new first choice right back. Does that not concern you at all?
  18. No, I obviously don't. We won't have 4,000 there on Weds.
  19. Finishing 17th isn't anything like a stable base. Thankfully we won't be finishing 17th, so its a fairly moot point.
  20. Arnhem were good, but Norwich
  21. I don't think its an unreasonable expectation, based on our resources, to be a top 10 side and do better than the likes of Watford and Bournemouth.
  22. One thing that has been mentioned by a couple of posters that I agree with is a lack of confidence we seem to be showing, a lack of belief in ourselves at key times. Winning games obviously helps that, and part of the problem must be key players and characters from last season missing - Forster, Bertrand, Schneiderlin, Alderweireld, Clyne, - that must be quite a lot of presence and cohesion lost there.
  23. Which club's have louder away support? They were better than Everton who won 3-0.
  24. Pellè has been quality all season, I still find it mental that so many question his contribution.
  25. His post isn't utter garbage though, I'd call that 90% spot on.
