Good level strikers at the peak of their careers don't "just rotate". I can't see either Pelle or Austin being happy sat on the bench for so long or for us to pay that kind of fee/wages for a squad player. I'd happily see Austin here, just can't see it as practical or realistic.

I was thinking that. Seen quite a few snide comments on here over the season about us only going for players from the Dutch League/that Koeman knows, bot of these players look carefully researched and scouted over a period.

Also, looking at our team last season, we had Rodriguez injured (so would have had an English player for the season), we bought Betrand as left-back, we replaced a Polish 'keeper with a young-ish English keeper, whilst giving opportunities to a load of youth players; that's not bad going all things considered.

They know where they can earn the most money - the UK, hence the effort to get here, that's pretty clear.
