Transfer update on Clyne, Schneiderlin and transfer priorities
Sour Mash replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
But its not though. There are a few people on here who have a bit of access to reasonably ITK information. -
They're not going to pull out any time soon. What exactly do they want the council to do?
-
The French doing nothing about it is a disgrace. God knows why anyone would want these people, their culture and behaviour to land on these shores.

Fixtures out tomorrow - who will we get first game?
Sour Mash replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Yes, I know that, but due to a) the high likelihood of us getting through and b) the short-notice between the 2nd 3rd round game and the Watford match I thought they might just move the Watford game to the Sunday now. I'm working off it being the Sunday anyway. -
I thought there was a further article that said, if Atletico were to sell him to another club, they would then have to pay us a further £1.5m (or something like that).

Also, will we just move the Watford away game to the Sunday now, or actually wait until 15 days before the fixture to make the Sunday official? -

Any update on when tv games are going to be announced? -
Don't think they're interested in getting rid of Chadli, he was one of their best players last season.
-
By my reading of the rules. It also states that the away team must be given at least 200 tickets for VIPs/Sponsors etc. Whilst I'd imagine a compromise can be found, there must be some seriously small grounds in this competition and I guess there are a few away options where we could just get a couple of hundred tickets.

Why? Even if Clyne continues to train and play well and is a better player than Cedric?
-
Or he could just not sign for us or Liverpool and run his contract down.
-
I doubt we just want to keep him. We want him to either sign a new contract (which he doesn't seem to want to do), or be sold for as good a price as possible.
-
Interesting. Where did you hear this from? Which clubs were offering him deals?
-
You said it was a "no brainer".
-
What if we've only got £12m to spend?
-
He thought Fraser Forster was a League One level keeper.
-
That would fund it, but all those deals are going to take a while to sort, players currently on high wages and not in huge demand elsewhere.
