But that's my point, where do you draw the line? One comment from a crowd of 50k? And what about not-racist abuse? THat can be pretty unpleasant as well, should players walk off every time? Or referees that get stick, how much should they take before they think stuff this? How would it effect the result if a team is 1-0 up with 5 minutes to go in a crucial end of season game?

Because thousands of others had travelled, taken time out, spent money to see you play, you don't throw a strop because a minority sing a song or shout something you don't like.

Exactly that. After the players that acutally do still play for us had put in such a top-level shift, lots of our fans were more interested in clapping and cheering Walcott and Chamberlain than our own players. Got nothing against those two players, just a very odd approach from some of our lot.
