  1. No, it's not acceptable behaviour. The club have disciplined him for it according to Adkins, so that's enough for me. And no, there is no reason for supporters to have a go at a keeper for making a mistake or conceding a goal, they don't do it on purpose.
  2. So what you're telling us is that Boruc launched a bottle at fans for no reason? Hard to believe I'm afraid.
  3. Completely agree. The ironic cheers were a joke.
  4. Anyone who has attended games in our relegation battles from years gone by will notice how much worse our support is these days. OUr support used to really make a difference, particularly at home, in a similar way to Stoke. In contrast, this season has been really half hearted, with a few exceptions such as Fulham away.
  5. Think there is definitely the case for playing Guly in games where we need to be tighter defensively, particularly in tougher games. Playing Lallana, Ramirez and a striker away from home does leave us exposed at times.
  6. Thought we were excellent, particular mention should go to the back 4, each were outstanding and I'd dare say that Cork was a better right back than Clyne has been this year. Thought Puncheon had a poor 2nd half, kept on taking too many touches, giving the ball away and leaving Cork exposed. Ramirez went missing a bit in the 2nd half as well in my eyes. Arsenal were very poor though, has to be said, they are such a funny, unpredictable team. Poor support from us, can't remember such a quiet home crowd for such a big game ever before.
  7. Glad he played today. Hard to judge him from that performance as he didn't have a massive amount to do. Looked a bit shakey first 15 mins, but that is understandable considering how little football he's played the last 6 months. Can't have been helped by some ridiculous ironic cheers from some Saints fans.
  8. Fair play to the two players, but what is weird is seeing some Saints fans putting more effort into singing their names than getting behind their own side, our support for such a big game was very poor today.
  9. Should be a separate, new, printed ticket. Just had a look on our ticketing website and there are still loads of tickets available in our end for this. Chelsea have sold all of their tickets.
  10. Yet despite all that, he's still looked better than either Davis or Gazziniga.
  11. There have been a few spares offered on here in the last day or so, if you dig around might still be able to source one. Re. pubs, as stated above, as its on sky most pubs will be showing it, so all depends on personal preference, area of town etc etc....
  12. Exactly that. I'd have him starting tomorrow as well, but not sure who then makes way for the return of Ramirez, guess it'd be Rodriguez.
  13. Out of the three 'keepers, Boruc has looked the best so far in the little we've seen of him. I can only assume there is a discipline/attitude/training issue that has stopped him continuing as first choice.
  14. Agreed. He's looked better than the other two in the games he's played.
  15. Wrong. They showed on Sky's "Goals on Sunday" this morning that N'Zoni's right knee came crashing down on Cork's knee, more than enough reason for any "reaction" from Cork. Absolutely nothing for Stoke fans to complain about that, but I'm sure they won't let that stop them using it as a reason to feel hard done by.
  16. You can't count Rotherham I'm afraid.
  17. Far too many honours given out for the Olympics, a brief one off high in Sports most people really don't care about.
  18. What actions were they?
  19. Why clap them? What's the point?
  20. Exactly tis. Posters continue to rattle on about Guly's miss, ignoring the long list of reasons why we weren't able to see out a 3-1 lead.
  21. Ramirez for Rodriguez for me.
  22. On 84 now, getting quite close to the full 92.
  23. Wouldn't boo him, wouldn't cheer or applaud him or Walcott either.
  24. Anyone got the figures from this season, or know how we can find them?
  25. It helps, but after a while the temptation to play for a big club and all the things that go with that, Champions League etc overrides pretty much anything else.
