Yeah, just looking through this, load of rubbish. Would be good if it was properly recorded and kept up to date.

How many Saints games have you been to where we have had to bring on a sub keeper? It's got to be about 500/1? Well worth the gamble in my opinion, now we're down to 5 on the bencha nd ahve a squad of players in form and pushing for a place. Also, attimes, away from home, we've lacked options off the bench a bit, can't do any harm having that extra option. Or who would you choose to leave out of the squad so you can include a keeper on the bench?

Cheers. That's the rest of my Friday morning in the office taken care of.
-
That's good mate, where did you find that? Me and the usual geeks will spend ages going through that!
-
We've played pretty much a whole 2nd XI for league cup games, so that does make sense if you think about it. As much as I hate to say it, the Sktes have done pretty well scraping together a half-decent first 11 and a few not bad results so far this year - unfortunately I reckon they'll win tomorrow night as well.

Don't think we were poor as such at Cardiff, but wouldn't say we bossed it either. Very similar to Burnley, couldn't get our game going first half and we came to life at the end and should have finished our chances at the end. Don't know if its a case of the oppossition putting a real shift in to close our play down, meaning the last 15mins they're f*****d and we're able to create chances? Would just help if we weren't 1 or 2 down before that, easier said than done I know.

Thought you must have. Obviously its one of the better problems for a football manager to have, but Adkins is definitely going to have a selection headache if everyone is fit.
-
Last 3 away games we've started really slowly and only really came into our own in the 2nd half. Be good to see if Adkins takes a different approach this game to try and counter that.
-
Been saying all season, now it's down to 5 subs, waste of using one for a keeper. No De Ridder in your line up?
-
That was always the case previously, massive jump in our numbers travelling away.

Here's a catergory for you 'Teams you've only seen away'

Northampton, Rotherham only ones for me I think. -
Brilliant support, hadn't expected us to take that many to somewhere as s**t as Derby. Shows what being top of the league does, buzzing for this now.
-
Seems like that's the new policy. Our ticketing systems are so S**t!
-
Cheers mate, thought it might be something like that. Tickets not on sale for this on-line are they? Really don't get how our ticketing systems work sometimes!
-
F**ks sake, thought I'd got a bargain booking well in advance for £12. Great deal that though.
-
Saints will leave it as late as possible to put them on sale as usual. The more I think about htis game, the more I realise what an utterly s**t away day it actually is.
-
Not really hard for them to pass as there is a study guide to revise all the answers from. Absolutely pointless piece of bureaucracy.
-
Anyone know how many tickets will become available for this one all told? Chances of selling out?
-
When we have a fully fit squad, Adkins is going to ahve a real headache as to who to include and who won't even make the squad.
-
I agree with that line up, but would have Hammond in instead of Chaplow - apart from one poor half at Burnley, Hammond has been excellent this year and he and Cork have really made us tick from the middle. Chaplow has been working really well coming in with 30mins left and running his legs off, closing down the oppossition and bombing on past tired defences - don't think that needs changing at the moment.

Too far to walk from town/station to the ground. Free shuttle buses are laid on from the station to the ground, but are a pain in my opinion and obviously not the quickest, so I'd recommend a cab. The police try to shove all Saints fans in the Three Guineas at the station. The pub itself is fine, but a) like all pubs its not fun when its packed and you spend ahalf your day trying to get to and from the bar; b) You don't want to spend the whole day stuck in one pub. My advice would be to try and get to Reading early and have a walk around, plenty of half decent pubs dotted round the place, then jump in a cab down to the ground.

I wouldn't get too carried away mate.

I personally think this could be great news - helps to keep ticket prices low. I think its one of the reasons why German football match tickets are quite cheap. -
The three I always use when up there, good little crawl from across the road from the station. Looking forward to this one now, can't f*****g stand blank weekends!

I take it you've never been there before?
