I thought it was fine, ticked the box of how good football songs catch on.
-
Definitely caught on. Will never win awards for originality, but that's definitely a regular now.
-
Zzzzzz boring. 3 weeks time you'll be moaning about performances you s**thouses. Anyone got the heads up on the Summer meltdown?
-
If something resembling the old fanzines was produced I'd definitely buy it, as would most lads I know. Got to be done well, the best ones talked about days out, pubs, away trips, gigs etc as much as what happened on the pitch.
-
On the subject of Royal Oak pubs, what is happening with the one next to Debenhams in town?
-
Plenty of selection headaches for this one. Going to see a very strong bench from us. Hard to call, but going to be a very close, tight game I reckon.
-
Agreed, thought he was outstanding.
-
This has definitely been the week to shut up our moaning weirdos one way or another.
-
We haven't been largely s***e for ages.
-
Pelle and Lambert pretty equal in my eyes.
-
If we do sign him and Pelle is still with us this season, it'll be interesting to see how it all fits together, Pelle or Austin first choice. Worse problems to have.
-
Very good performance, comfortably the better team. We've been unlucky in a few games, should probably have a couple more points on the board. Hopefully a reminder for many on here that we're a decent side with a good set up, no need to get upset every time we have a bad run.
-
How much do you think it'd have cost for QPR to sell him then? No chance.
-
You're suggesting we should have bought Austin last January?

And just another day in Islam's impact on the West. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35295579. And still we're told we should take more of these people. -
Confirmed: Caulker loan cancelled; Moves on loan to Liverpool
Sour Mash replied to Maggie May's topic in The Saints
Caulker isn't as bad as many on here make out. Yes, he did have a couple of s**t performances for us, that happens sometimes. Makes sense them signing him, same reason it was sensible for us to sign him - Premier League experience, and short-term availability. Not many CBs tick those boxes really. -
Guess, theoretically, same reason we went for him? Not many CBs available as short term cover, that have a reasonable amount of Premier League experience.

Papers having a laugh at the moment? Agents? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/633776/Liverpool-boss-Jurgen-Klopp-shock-approach-England-defender-Steven-Caulker-News-Gossip

I'm not sure why you find it so difficult to understand how you're wrong, but don't let it bother you so much.
-
Only you know what you meant, I'm commenting on what you've written.
-
You said that the only way to ascertain if an U21 is good enough for the first team is to play them in the first team. That is clearly wrong, proven by the fact that no club plays every single U21 in their first team to see if they're good enough. It doesn't happen anywhere. For obvious reasons.
-
Why does not one single professional football club do that then?
-
Pelle scores about 1 in 3. All strikers are going to be inconsistent, unless you get one at top international level.
-
That doesn't make sense. Unless you give every single U21 player a sustained run in the team, which not one single club does.
